Any forum members dealt with Steve White Motors in Hickory NC? I am in negotiations to purchase an 07 Crossfire coupe from them, new with 9 miles on the odometer. They have a very high eBay rating, but it looks like they sell a lot of parts on eBay and not so many cars. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them, before I buy a plane ticket to fly down and buy a car sight unseen....

I purchased my Crossfire from Steve White. No problems at all. They have been a pleasure to work with. I'm sure you'll love your new car.

Very good question! I have seen numerous photos but not sure how recent they are. Guess I should verify they are post hurricane Gustov and Ivan photos....

 

i think you can trust that dealer my son bought a 04 hemi from them in 04 they beat all prices in fl and trailerd it to fl for 100.00 to the door

 

I bought my new 2006 Limited Roadster from them in March. Hands down the best dealership I've bought a car from. Speak with "Tim" who is the new car sales manager. They treated me really well and I would definitely recommend them.

Check Carfax on the car, just in case. I dunno how useful it is in all cases but you shouldn't ignore it.

 

I would not worry that the car has damage or was in a flood area. Steve White bought a large number of sales bank cars (built without a dealer order). That is how they can sell them at that price. They have had these on their lot for quite some time now - I've been following their inventory out of curiosity to see how long it takes them to sell them all off.
As I said earlier, I bought my Crossfire from them and have been very pleased.

 

I agree with everyone else... Mine car is an 06 that I bought in 08 with 6 miles on it. I drove from south Florida to NC, picked up the car and drove home. Great experience. I still keep in touch with them and highly recommend them!

I have a follow up on Steve White Motors in Hickory North Carolina.

My wife and I flew to Charlotte from Michigan on Tuesday. The dealer had a driver waiting to pick us up. About 45 minute drive to the dealership. The deal went very smoothly, the car was perfect and we enjoyed our drive home through the Blue Ridge Mountains of Tennesee and Kentucky!

We paid $19,900 for our 07 coupe with 10 miles on the odometer. It was not damaged, drove perfectly and was exactly as advertised. I have to admit I was a bit apprehensive about this deal, flying out of state to buy a car I had never seen, but it went off without a hitch. They have a few more 07's left on the lot. If anyone is interested in getting the best price in the nation on an 07 coupe, I highly recommend this dealer. Ask for Chris Andrews....

Too bad we couldn't have worked it out to line up with the Tail of the Dragon, but timing just wasn't right....

 

Congrats! that is a great deal! Kinda makes buyin a car fun when you fly in from another state to get it.

 

I have bought 6 cars on EBay and while not everyone was a great deal, every one was a great experience.

We all know the end destination in life. It is always the same no matter what you do. Only the journey has choices.

Take some chances and enjoy.

As to Steve White Motors, I don't think you are taking chances. I have yet to hear anything but the best about them. Good Luck.
