The luggage came with the car. It is not, or ever was, sold by Chrysler. You have to buy luggage that belonged to an original owner. Luggage sets pop up on ebay and occaisionally here on the market place section. Keep your eyes open and bid on a set. Good luck hunting.

 

Once in a while a member will list it for sale. Just need to keep watch and check the 'For Sale' section.

 

Be prepared - they go fast and are generally not cheap. They're nice to have for "stylin'" with the car but I wouldn't check them on an airline - they'd get trashed pretty quick. I just use mine for car-only trips.

You can buy them new from the manufacturer. The number is on the forum, just search for luggage. I believe it's TRG.

If I remember correctly it's $450.00 and $500.00 for SRT luggage.

 

Does anyone know if the luggage is still "standard equipment"? Picking up a new 07 Tuesday. About a month after we took delivery of our 05 I had a nice suprise package delivered to the door, didn't even know it was coming. seems like I heard the luggage is no longer being shipped on new models.

 

Check your Monroney sticker. If it says "Touring Gear" then someone owes you some touring gear. The touring gear is the luggage and it should still appear at your door as if by magic.

 

Was it listed on your window sticker for the '05? If so, take a look at your sticker for the new car.

 

the dealer usually punches ie registers your car with a fake name .
to get the incentives from the chrysler corp , their for the dealer ends up with some luggage.

Wow, that's an incredibly cynical viewpoint. I just don't see the dealer having the time to screw with that. And anyway, that would cause some problems with the "in service date" that would be too risky to chance as a buyer would probably cotton on to that. No dealer is going to risk their franchise for a set of hokey luggage. Yes, I like mine but it's not high end stuff. It's just interesting to us owners.

 

Our 05 Limited did have "touring gear" listed on the standard features. I'll have t check the window sticker when we pick up the car next week. Has anyone out there recently had luggage delivered from Chrysler? Just seems this was a per that died out a few years ago...

 

Can someone who does have the luggage measure the suitcase for me? My daughter boosted my regular suitcase from meto go to Pgh PA & it got stuck in the trunk of my 2005 LTD Roadster. It would still be there except a nice man helped get it out.
