I've noticed that I tend to drive closer to the speed limit on the highways. But I don't know if it's because I'm more paranoid about standing out in the crowd and being easier for the "Law" to spot. Or because I enjoy watching all the people gawk at my car as they pass by.
I do find that I take the longer way home most of the time, and I actively seek out the roads with the most curves.

I actually have become an even better driver wanting to spend more time behind the wheel, which is a bad thing because I use way more gas now! LOL! I've gained more confidence behind the wheel mostly of being a proud owner of a very fine automobile with power and handling to rival the best of them.

Yes, it has turned me into a road maniac, that drives in the carpool lane at 120 mph while at the same time cutting off Toyota Prius's

I try to keep it at the speed limit in town. I generally try no to go over 5 MPH above the limit on highways.

Corners are another thing. I will not slow down as much as I love whipping around fast. I really love curvy on ramps to the highway!

I do find that I have to be a more defensive driver as people typically don't see me and like to come over into my lane.

Always driving faster than the speed limit.
On the tollways and highways usually going at least 70 and most often cruisin 80+ mph.
If anyone is checkin out my Crossfire they are probably getting a glance at the back end as I fly by them !!
Just to fun to drive slowly out on the open road.
I save that for in town.
Then they can look all they want and I might even notice.

I forgot what driving other cars is like haha. I usually stay off the gas, try to stay around the same speed as traffic, but like everyone else said, hate slowing down for turns. My old car was a boat (but it felt faster than my crossfire, though it was slower.) so my driving has changed alot, and I just plain kick the crap out of my mustang. All its really good for is spinning the tires. My caddy was a great car though, gotta love the northstar. Theres nothing like getting 30 mpg on the highway with a 4.6 liter 275 hp v-8 in a 3800 lb car!

UH....Yeah.
Now i stop chasing one down when I see it in traffic to get a closer look.
Now I stop wishing I was driving one.

I still chase 'em down but just to say "Hi"

I used to put my foot to the floor and impatiently wait for the car to go faster.
Now I just think about going faster ad poof, I am.

roadser with a stick

I drive more so the better miliage hasn't helped my carbon footprint. Broke that promise right away. Sorry Mr Gore

I try to keep within the speed limits more now. I kind of assume that if a car like this gets spotted going at speed, it will be stopped.

I am less heavy on the gas than I was. With my previous cars, to get any kind of decent acceleration involved a heavy foot. Useful when getting out of the way of BMWs…

When I first got the Crossfire, I thought that it was getting through fuel really badly. I realised that (a) the car is much quieter and I am not supposed to hear the engine all the time and (b) I don’t need to stomp on it to get it out of sticky situations with BMWs. As a result, my milage has improved dramatically, and with care I can get the best part of 450 miles out of a tank

What I have found is that the attitudes of other drivers seems to be different. I my old Skoda, it would take me about an hour to get to my parents. In the Crossfire, the time travelled can be considerably less. I am not driving any faster. I am driving at the same speeds, BUT it seems that other cars move out of the way more, so I can drive at the speeds I want to for longer, thus bringing the journey time down.

My driving is about the same except I enjoy holding my cruising speed or maybe even speeding up when exiting a freeway on the ramp when someone is behind me. They have to slow down and It's like I'm on a rail. I wonder what they think.

The biggest difference is when I park my Crossfire. It takes me forever to get into the store. I have to stop many times to look back and admire my car. Be honest could you just park, go into the store, and not look back at your Crossfire, even just once. If you don't look back I think it's time to trade it in.

My wife is amused by this.
She is making that long walk into the store from the farthest spot out in the parking lot and I am doing that little Crossfire dance in the parking lot.
Walking a bit stopping turning looking back at it and then walking a little more and doing it again.
Sometimes I will let the wife off at the front of the store and then go park far away and do my dance thing into the store alone.

I have noticed the parking thing too. when I am at work sometimes I see people snapping pictures of the x-fire or staring at the wing ( I always leave it up when I park it). It's funny to think that if people knew what these cars could be bought for.

My drinving habits actually changed when I had the TT Supra, you talk about having cops follow you for no reason try owning a TT Supra...it was very annoying. I had mine back when the fast and furrious had just come out so all the ricers were like "OMG!! It's that car out the Fast & The furious" it was VERY funny.

The Crossfire turns heads almost like the Supra did this makes me happy considering the price difference !!

Just got back from a highway 1 cruze along the ocean. It's a great drive and the XF makes it a lot more fun than most cars. Had plenty of room in the back for luggage and the golf clubs. There is something special about this car that goes way beyond just driving it. I have the same parking issues and always have to look back, just to make sure it's there. I believe I've become obsessed. Gotta go, I need to drive to the store to get a paper clip.

To answer your question, yes I have changed my driving habits as of late. My car has been in the shop more then on the road for the past 3 months. I'll have it in again monday so they can "find the problem". I've driven my wife's car more in the last 3 months than my own car. But hey, the Crossfire is above average, or so they say.
