Touring Gear
Touring Gear
For what it's worth I posted a write up on the Touring Gear that was sent to new owners.
I got lucky and got mine in trade for selling a woman's Crossfire for her.

I visited the site for the manufacturer. They do business with businesses. They sold the luggage to Chrysler, who in turn distributed it to owners.
If you contact the manufacturer, they're going to refer you to Chrysler.
Regional Sales Managers are people who develop deals with other businesses not deal with the public.
Re: Touring Gear
Ppro,
Thanks a lot, this info is a gold mine to me, as a new owner.
Sadly, I depended on someone else last week-end while I was away on a boat with friends. There was a complete new set on ebay. They did not follow up and neither placed my bid. The full set went for 300$...Is it a fair price? Who knows?.
I am back on the hunt to complete all of the car's amenities.
I plan to order an the owners manual kit through Tech Authority tomorrow- mine has been soaked in its former life!- and also the service manual on CD...which may prove useful some day if either I get smarter as a mechanic for modern cars or Chrysler fails to service these in years to come and we need to rely on other sources. I have had experience with such fall out when Jaguar elected to "drop off" entirely their support to pre- 1970 Jags, as I own a 59 XK. Lucky I had invested in parts and service manuals years before. So, same reasoning for the Xfire.
Cheers, and thanks again,
Le Chat.

Factory Manual
The factory manual is linked from this site in the Documents section - easy to download all the files and then burn to CD. I wish I had known before I bought it on eBay. Though given my work, a bootleg copy would not probably be well regarded...
Second tip - the luggage sets routinely sell on eBay for around $300. Sometimes more. Best to watch for a set that is "like new never used unopened" and be willing to bid up to $400. You should be able to win it under those circumstances.
Or you can do like I did - find someone who needs help selling their car and has the luggage too....
