I'm usually going over the speed limit at all times( 5mph in city, 10mph on the highway) and if someone chooses to ride my **** I just take my foot of the gas and go EXACTLY the speed limit. If that doesn't work there's always the e-brake...........it's a nice way to slow down even faster and without lighting up the tail lights.

Not to mention that they're in the range of 4-7K lbs. should that hit you, you can forget about the SRT, be happy it doesn't crawl up and over you and come down on your head. I don't care how big you are, 7000lb on your head makes for a bad hair day.

When I first got my drivers license (1967) the first two cars I had access to was my Mom's 62 Dodge Dart, 2dr. hard top, and 5 months later, my own 63 Dodge 880 vert.
As some of you may know both of those cars had "Push Button" automatic trannys. This feature lends itself to some interesting scenarios when you only push the reverse button part way and light up the reverse lights.
When ever somebody tailgated me back then, I'd just tap the reverse button a couple times, and most people got the message (especially after dark).
One time a guy had been on my tail for about 3 or 4 miles when I finally got a traffic light with him still behind me. I put the car into reverse, and brake torqued it for a couple of seconds. That REALLY got his attention, but when I punched it back into Drive, I kept my finger on the reverse button, so he thought I was still in reverse as the light turned green. He was frantically laying on his horn, and screaming at me in a panic thinking I was going to back up into him as I smoked the tires and pulled away from him.
For some reason he dropped waaay behind me after that.

You may not realize that these days the "emergency brake" is really a "parking brake". Using it as you describe puts incredible forces on the drive train that it was not designed for. Also it will cause flat spots on your tires and a sudden unpredictable loss of control. You're playing with fire. You will eventually ruin something in your drive train from the torque forces, your tires, or maybe even have a serious accident. Tailgaters aren't worth it.

Aside from that, my car yells at me when I do it.

I've pretty much done what most have suggested at one time or other many years ago, I guess I'm much more mellow now and I just let them pass knowing that if I wanted to, I could easily pass them.
If they get on my nerves, I just call the aggressive driver hotline that most highways have now.
The sweet justice often is you see the guy get pulled over down the road, which happened once when I downshifted because I saw a speed trap and this fellow behind me flashed his beams, rode me for a few seconds, I moved over, the blasted past me and the rest was just pure entertainment for me.

Ever since I started driving faster more capable cars I've found a certain tolerance for people in sporty vehicles that ride my *** (probably because I find it very easy to climb into people's trunks myself). I usually speed up to play or just letting them pass... But when the occasional soccer mom or inbred pickup truck driver decides they are going to get brave, I just bait them into cornering speeds that are not conducive to their vehicle's lateral G rating.
The panic braking and violent steering correction is usually enough to calm them down. One time a Hyndai accent full of kids understeered straight off a tight low-speed corner trying to chase my modified 04 Neon R/T. I stopped and checked on them because they were student's in my brother's tech school class, they were fine and had the car out of the ditch in no time. Golden Lolz.

My father has a 300C SRT-8, damn that thing is fast!
Some ricer in a Civic hatch was on my ***, so I hit the brakes the first time. That got him pissed.
Next, I slowed down about 15 below the limit. The idiot was honking but did not go around.
As I slowed to 40mph (roadwork), I downshifted and put my foot to the floor. After some smoke and a lot of wheel spin, I couldn't see him in my rearview mirror. The question is, did he stop his tailgating or did I just leave him in the dust?
