Default error code p04010

hey guys my check engine comes on every once in awhile and when I plug my code reader in it reads p04010 ( I think) and it says secondary air system malfunction, this to me sounds like a vacuum leak but I can't seem to find one, and I don't think there is one because the car runs fine, but I do seem to have a problem every once in awhile with the rpm's not wanting to come down and I think these are tied together, does anyone have any idea what this problem is or having the same problem? Any help greatly appreciated

If your code was P0410 it refers to the Secondary Air Injection System. I have just dealt with this problem 2 days ago with the dealer. I was experiencing an intermittent check engine light, so I checked with my DRB reader and got the P0410 code. My dealer replaced the Secondary Air Injection System Relay which was $385 for the part plus another $300-400 for labour. Not covered under drivetrain warranty which I think is bull***t. I did not experience any degradation in performance while the code was present. My service rep could not explain (to my satisfaction) what this was for or why it wasn't part of the drivetrain. I hate them.

i would think that it would have been covered under the drivetrain warranty because it's for 7 years 84,00 miles

all it is, is an air pump that runs for approx. the first 1-2 minutes to get your cats warm up to reduce emmisions
