I picked up the new toy. There were a few things I wanted to address, namely the headlights and front bumper.

Headlights process:

-Wetsand with 2000 unigrit sandpaper.
-Compound with Optimum Compound via LC 4" yellow pad.
-Polished with PlasX by hand

After Wetsanding:

Very nice. Now let me save you some elbow grease and sandpaper. Get your self a Porter Cable Buffer, you will have something to buff your car with, get a tube of Meguiars Scratch X. Less than 5 minutes and your headlights will look brand new, at this point probably even better than brand new.

Believe me, that wouldn't have worked. Everything was done using a PC. I initially tried Optimum Compound (which is much more abrasive than Scratch X) without wetsanding on a LC 4" yellow pad and the headlights didn't budge. Wetsanding was required for this job.
