Default Std. cpe. drivers seat non-powered

My drivers seat height adj. is locked in the full up position. Worked well for about it's 1st 6 mths. of use. Now is locked full up & won't rock, bounce, or pry loose. It's not a prob. since I'm only driver&this is the best height for me, but would be nice if worked as it should. Not going back for warranty on this, but has it happened to anyone else? Did you find a release method that returned it to normal? The hdl. is free to move as it should like always.
Thks

Why not take it back to get it fixed if it's still under warranty?

Yeah, i'd take it back and get it fixed.. it's not like they really can mess up putting in a new non powered seat ??

I was thinking they will prob. remove it to free up the underseat bind & in the process there goes my new upholstery condition that I'll never get back again due to shop handling!! On the other hand might I get a new seat replacement? More than likely I'll have downtime while the cars parked at the dealership waiting for parts. I know the passenger seat doesn't have this height adj. avail, but that would be the one to do without while I could still drive til the parts arrive. Just can't win I suppose.
