Bye, Nice to have chatted with all the x-fire owners here. I traded in the X-fire.....I mean I down graded to a much more economical car. Im so gonna miss my x-fire, But hello VW GTI 2-door coupe candy white 2.0 turbo. Its a nice car but its no x-fire! peace out, keep it real and if I see you on the road, i will be sure to beep and give the thumbs up!

Sorry to see you go. Curious if you don't mind, how much did they give you on an 05 and what was the milage? Just trying to keep track of the market.

Sorry that you had to give up the Crossfire. At least you stuck with the German Engineering. I like the GTI and Candy White would be my color choice too.

Is the gti that much more economical than the crossfire? It also requires premium fuel.

I was thinking the same thing Woosh. Maybe more practical, but I don't think it's going to be any more economical at all. (at least not so you would notice).
We did the VW thing about 10 years ago, it was OK, but over all
I wasn't that impressed.
I hope N.Y. XF isn't too dissappointed.

sad days for the crossfire....happy days for the TURBO GTI...

not as sexy as the crossfire...but still nice.

Did you get the 2.0l Direct Injection Turbo? I drove a TT with that engine and it is pretty sweet

I did indeed. I was impressed myself...As far as it being economical....I would say im getting tons more gas mileage then with the x-fire and oil changes wont run me around 100.00 anymore, It still a synthetic but not 0w-40. I think its 5w, but not sure. Its a 6 speed manual trans also.

The gti is a very nice car, thinking about getting a four door for the wife.
