how about a freeby, debadge!

also, you can start replacing your chrysler emblems with crossfire emblems for pretty cheap.

The doorsills are available online and are a Chrysler aftermarket product. Google Crossfire + parts.

At 40k miles, consider a pair of K&N air filters. I replaced the OEM on my roadster and it seemed to slightly improve mpg.

Performance wise I think you are limited, unless you spend a lot of money. The difference between what you paid and a $20-22K SRT6 gets the supercharger with 130hp more.

I agree with your statement about the manual. If the SRT6 came with one, that's what I would have bought in the first place. But I added it to the fleet because they were so damn cheap and becoming more rare, and I did not want to wait a few years and deal with a high mileage one (mine had only 8400 miles). Besides, the body style contrasts nicely with the roadster.

It all depends on your taste. Check out peoples user gallery. I enjoy looking at everyones photos and ideas.
IMO lowering the car is the first mod you should consider. I installed the Eibach Pro kit two weeks after I purchased my car. I highly recommend it.
And you gotta tint those windows ...

I pulled out the rubber gasket and great news! not one bit of rust. However, haha, I can't get the d@mn gasket to attach back and it's not going well. Any Suggestions?

I am also looking into getting the capacitor for my stereo system. Which ones do ya'll recommend (180uf, 200uf, etc.) and where's the best place to get em?

Is installing a sprint booster a DIY kind of job? I am seriously thinking about picking one up and I'd like to be able to do it on my own if it's not too complicated. (Once again I have very little experience in stuff like this) Where is the best place to get these at?

I am looking into the grilles quite a bit as well. What exactly are rear diffusers? haha Might be a stupid question but I'd like to know. I doubt I'll be lowering it because it's really low to the ground as it is.

I LOVE the stock rims and I doubt I will be changing them because I agree they look fantastic. I already have my windows tinted. I live in VA where the car laws are unbelievably strict but I've got the sides to where you can barely see through them as well as the back and the windshield is tinted a bit as well. Lights are another option. I need to get one of those kits to clean out my headlight because it has some fogginess/distortion in the cover.

A radar detector would be amazing since I can't help but to drive fast it's just addictive with this car haha but I'm only 18 and if my mom or dad ever saw it they would literally strangle the life out of me even though it's my car. Random family visits would make it hard to hide it.

The TVT250 will be somewhere in the near future. I am about to start a new job (I'm in college so I can only work part-time and money isn't too abundant right now) so hopefully I can save up enough because the extra ~40 horses (215 to 253 if I'm not mistaken) would be amazing.

The illuminated door sills will be one of my first mods. Those just stand out to me and are really unique.

I talked to Andrew about rebadging my car with his emblems and I'm waiting to hear back. His emblems look amazing and I'm looking forward to getting a set. What do you guys recommend for a black coupe? And did anyone try mixing it up and not putting the same emblems on all 9 spots? (4 wheels, front and back, steering wheel and 2 key fobs are all the emblems I believe?) What colors look the best with black?

I will most likely be purchasing some K&N filters soon. I have been looking for a cold air intake (2 actually because Crossfires have room for 2 right?) but can't really seem to find any. I tried to get Advanced Auto to order one but they said they can't get them. Any other options out there?

I think I covered everything. haha Thanks so much for all the help and please keep the suggestions coming.

Val,
I put the 200uf's in my car which almost eliminate the bass response from the mid-range door speakers. If you like a more "bassey" surround type sound I believe some members went with 320's. Best part they are cheap enough to experiment with to see which better serves your taste. I bought mine through Amazon, I believe Radio Shack and Crutchfield has'em also.

Installing a Sprint Booster takes a 10mm socket and rachet, a strong stick magnet and some patience !

Just my Dos Centavos !

Valorian, that's great news about no rust under your doors, but I would still suggest you get some Por15 and coat the entire area under the gasket. There is a seam that runs the whole length of the door where two pieces of metal overlap and that's where the rust "WILL" start.
After you paint it and it dries, you could always spray it with silicone to help facilitate the gaskets installation. But I wouldn't put anything on it before you paint it, or the paint may not stick.
Sometimes the gasket pops right back in, other times you have to work with it. It's just rubber so you really can't hurt it by pushing it real hard, just don't use anything sharp.

Whereabouts in VA do you live? Thinking about organizing a meet in or around Staunton (intersection of I-81 and I-64) for sometime later in July... let me know if you are interested!

You asked for opinions on rebadging your black Crossfire. I like the badges from Andrew because you can peel them off and go back to original and they hug the slightly domed contour of the original badge. I like the badges from Dan that go into the wheel center because they're hard plastic and potentionaly more durable, and can be taken off and replaced with the original Chrysler badges that have been removed using Dan's method of drilling from behind and pushing the original emblem off without destroying it.

Both Andrew and Dan have excellent instructions for installation. As far as color I chose the black with silver lettering. I liked the black wheel centers on a black car. I think that the contrast adds something. See pics below, I hope they help.

As far as the K&n air filters, I was set to order the filters when a forum member posted this report and test showing that the K&N had more flow but less filtration http://www.systems-engineering-associates.com/papers. Not wanting to race my Crossfire I would rather have more filtration. Of course you can install the K&N's for racing and put the standards in for touring.

Good Luck on your decisions.

man. where to start. there are so many...so many...

do you research and start up a spreadsheet (much like I have ). detail all of the mods and their cost against your wants and wishes.

now that is logical.

if you want your car to feel faster, get the sprint booster, if you want it to actually go faster, don't , the sprint booster doesn't actually increase performance.

So, techniqually speaking, how close can I get my NA XF to the performance of a stock SRT-6? I just got my Crossfire and it is financed for 3 years so my best interest would probably be to pay it off before I upgrade to an SRT. I'd love to make a hobby out of my car and keep upgrading it until I trade it off but not if it's going to be a waste if it's simply not possible to reach a high level without basically paying for my car twice over. Ya'll have gave me a lot of great ideals on the cosmetic side and I will definitely start on that but what order is best to go about the performance upgrades? The sprint booster will probably come later as some have said it is not really useful for speed but just more enjoyment out of driving your car. I know there are 10-15+ other upgrades that are vastly beneficial but I don't have much experience in this and don't want to do things in the wrong order or incorrectly and mess something up. Thanks!

So, from what you've stated, it will take ~ $9,000 to get my car running at SRT level when I can go and buy an SRT for that much extra and upgrade it to a level I could never reach with this one. That is what I wanted to know because there is really no point in doing all that work for really no purpose.
