Just got home from picking up our 06 graphite limited coupe, stick and leather inside, perfect condition through-out, from NC. What a car !!!!! Dealer was terrible but I did get a new set of tires out of them. They new I was flying up to drive it home and yet when I checked the tires all the tread wear bars were exposed ( 13,500 miles, previous owners obviously enjoyed the car too!). They gave me Continentals and said they were factory tires.? I did notice tire noise in the car on the interstate portions of our trip.
We picked the car up in Durham, drove west into Tennessee, drove around the mountains and went south thru the corner of Georgia and into Alabama, headed south down to Panama City here in Fl. and drove the coast on south to home. We only saw 4 xfires the whole way,1 coupe and 3 roadsters, 2 in Tn/ 2 in Fl.
Our favorite part of the trip? Rt. 340 in Tn. by Parrotsville ( cool little town). I'm sure that road was made for a Crossfire !!!!
I'll tell you this.... if I ever sell this car it certainly won't be for the small amount that I paid for it. What a buy! Why are these cars going for so little? I pd a little less than 18 for this beatiful piece of engineering!
Anyway, thanks to all of you that gave me such an education about this car before I flew up to get it. That dealer must have thought this was my second Xfire!
