can you beat this?

It works out to an unbeliveable 37.1 MPG (or 6.3l/100 km). That is if you filled it up to the top. Taken into account that the tank capacity is 60l, and you said the light had come on, it appears that it may not have been totally filled. Regardless 437 miles is great achievement. Congrats that will be very difficult to beat.
I barely get 200 miles to a tank with my lead foot

That's uphill or down?
I LOVE those roads, just not the 7 days-a-week drivers one must dodge.
Re: can you beat this?
My last tank ran up to 327 miles before the light came on. I figured it out to be 22.86 MPG. That's pretty great for an SRT-6. There were a couple of 100+ MPH blasts in there and a little bit of gridlock as well. I will admit that was 75% highway in the 55-75 Range with Cruise Control when possible. I think I could get 360 100% Highway, but I've never had it on a trip long enough to empty a tank on the highway. I usually average about 300 miles per tank which is about 21 MPG.
Re: can you beat this?
I usually fill up with approximately 1/4 of a tank left. I've been averaging 25-26 mpg with 90% of my driving being fairly short trips around my local area. I find myself shifting at 4000 most every stop light. I'm tempted to try to drive slower in a more economical range just to see what my mileage would be, but that is next to impossible to do. The XFire is just not made to be driven that way. It seems everytime I look in the mirror the wing is up.

The best I have done is 25 mpg in my SRT6. This was 75% highway driving.

Re: can you beat this?
I got 438 miles out of a tank last July coming back from Carlisle..........30.9 mpg. I was crossing my fingers that I would make it to the next exit for gas and don't think I will push it that far again.....LOL. Usually average about 27 mpg around town and to work & back.
Have several tanks from 411 to 425. I record every gallon since driving it off the lot...always have with all of my cars to help spot problems.

I was contemplating this fact as I read the thread starting at the top...once you stated it I would have to say I'm in total agreement. Just for those who don't "se habla" the world of metrics...437km is roughly 271miles. Which MI1XFIRE pointed out earlier a fuel consumption of about 11.787 gallons after fuel conversion from litres to gallons. which would put NEDRIDER at roughly only 23mpg. which is about average.
I keep track of every tank fill so I can a)spot problems and b)spot too many aggressive driving habits.
Re: can you beat this?
Last tank I managed 28.5 mpg. That was mostly freeway driving during my rush hour commute to/from work. I have been trying to drive conservatively, but occasionally I do let the ponies loose. I'm very happy with the ability of the car to get relatively decent mileage.
