When you hit them, you need to bone em...

That one went under instead of over. Sort of like running over a big honking bag of pretzel sticks... Cost me $39 for a new driving light and $20 for bar-b-que supplies...

Needless to say I was sorry for the deer; happy I wasn't in the Crossfire... The bumper won't fit the Crossfire, sorry to say...

Good luck. Tell them you want factory original parts and stop by during the repair to make sure that's what they put on there!

This really sucks, I just got an email from an instructor @ school, UTI is starting a motorsports club, they'll have us flagging @ SCCA events, there's a drag strip club in the works, and have us pitting in some other races. Englishtown, NJ has a brand new rpad course opening this weekend (June 6,7,8) and the first 250 people in each day get to race for free!!! And me with no Crossfire, that's what the car was made for, not this 1/4 mi straight track stuff. This blows!!

I test drove the SRT6 yesterday (7 Jun 08) just in case.... All I have to say is Man!!! You SRT guys have all the fun. I love the feeling of getting pushed back in the seat. Speaking of the seat, the OAT sensor said 95 degrees when I opened the door and I thought they were gonna be hotter than Hades with it being a dark interior and I didn't get burnt at all.

I wasn't able to hear that supercharger whine until the very end of the road test back in the parking lot. I guess the sound bounced off all the other cars... I like!!! I like very, very much!!!

As far as hearing, I like the exhaust note as well. Little more bass compared to the limited. I like the limited around 2500 and up, but the SRT's note kicks in I gues it was around 1500-1800, and definitely a lot more "throaty"

Gonna have a chat with in insurance agent tomorrow and I'll just so happen to drop how little I paid for the car. I don't forsee them doing anything but fixing since the wheels have already been turning on that one, but you never know....

So I made an unexpected visit to the body shop that is doing the work. It's a smaller place, but I see some Benz's, BMW's, Infiniti's around so I thought the Crossfire may be in good hands. A damn! hoodlock sensor is what's holding me up. That and the brackets for the condensor and radiator. They're being held in place just by the hoses attaching them. Other than that, the car looks good. As far as I can tell, it's covered in rainwater and looks to be sitting awhile with patches of pollen on it. Poor car. Oh well...

So I got my car back yesterday and I am not happy at all. The exterior look great. I'm not happy that I can't wash the car, they say to not wash for a week and to not wax for a month.

The interior is trashed. My owners manual black covering, always kept in the glovebox, has a layer of dust on it, there's dirt on the driver door where the SRS label is and near the speaker.

AND GET THIS!!! There's a 3" black mark on my cedar section of the seat near where the horizontal part and the upper meet. Looks like paint pen, marker, Sharpie, whatever. I took photos of the interior before I let rollback man take it and showed the photos to ins company. We blew them up on their computer and I didn't get the section in question. So now I have no proof of them doing it. I AM SO Pi$$ED!!!!!!

Is there any way of getting rid of this mark?? I am at work now so I can't upload pics but will do so this weekend.

That was a good idea making pictures. I had a problem like that with the body shop. They claimed the problem was from the accident so I whipped out the pictures taken in the parking lot - at the body shop - before they started working on it and showed them it wasn't from the crash and happened after they got the car... It cost them a good chunk of change out of their own pocket to make it right. If I hadn't had those pictures...

Matter of fact it was this picture - showing my winch with no damage - which was somehow trashed sitting in the body shop for four weeks....go figure. I'm thinking it went wheeling with someone else while the Jeep was in the shop and the person who "borrowed it" never thought anyone would notice...

I feel your pain. I ran over a cow with my canary yellow Gt.( 250 mi on OD) The ins. co. was not happy but 7 mo. later I got my car back. Waiting on parts or something. The paint really didn't match. It went Right up the hood, busted the windshield, flattened out the roof and ripped off the spoiler. Cow got up and ran off. I should have took pictures. Maybe next time.
