no it wasnt totalled. yeah when i saw how yours look i first thought hmmm that looks very familiar haha. yeah the deer made my airbag deploy but only on the passenger side. but they just started working on it yesterday and they are expecting it to be done in about 3 weeks. most of the car will be done in about 2 weeks but the hood wont show up for about 2 and a half weeks. they are also replacing my seatbelts i guess thats standard procedure when the airbag deploys. idk how much those are. but yeah if you look at the interior pic the windshield is shattered on the passenger side. I DEFINETLY thought i was going to have a dead deer in my passenger seat. which talk about freaky haha. but its good to hear your ok! our cars take deer pretty well i was next to a semi truck and the car didnt swerve AT ALL when i hit it. i had perfect control the entire time

Hondas hit Crossfires, Crossfires hit deer. I wonder what would happen if a Honda and deer got together.

Hey thanks Valk! that is much easier. well yeah that is 12 grand of SRT damage right there. I don't know if your hood punctured the radiator but mine did. so that will have to be replaced it also sliced the belt and scratched a couple things up pretty bad in there. did yours have much engine damage?

Jeep2Xfire was the other member who hit the deer

Sorry to hear about your Crossfire, I have the SSB SRT6 located near your school, in the Eagleview corporate park. If the insurance decides is repairable, use Grandsport in Eagle or the Mercedes body repair shop in West Chester.
BTW, there is a SSB SRT6 at Carsense with 2300 miles for $22,880, parked in the back left row of their lot. One of my coworkers drove it and said it does perform, in very good condition. send me a pm and we'll hook up for lunch sometime....
Good Luck

I happened to see someone test driving that SSB SRT6 maybe last week or the week before. Looking on their site it seems as though they still have it. It's being repaired @ one of their facilities in Willow Grove that way the ins. company warrants the work if it is repaired. I'm still waiting to hear on an estimate.

Lunch sounds good. Are you the one in the Graphite metallic SRT I keep seeing on 202?

Mine still drove, no leaks visible on ground or in the plastic shield. Condenser and radiator are pushed into the front cover of the block though. No warning lights and no idea if any codes are present.

No, but that's another forum member (emthusist) located in Malvern that has the Graphite SRT6. He was at Carlisle last year. Mine is an SSB SRT6 with a PA license plate of SRT6.

jeep2xfire it sounds like yours it alot less damaged than mine! thats a good thing. i couldnt see what else in my engine bay needed to be replaced because my hood was hooked on something pretty good. but all i know is it needs some work before its back at 100% thats for sure

Best way to avoid this is have some kids.... Mine keep me home at night so i have much less chance of hitting deer. I havn't seen a deer on the road in the daytime unless its already dead.

That won't help me. I work until midnight, this occured on my way home from work. I wasn't out partying. Something tells me that kids will cost me more than 7100 bucks too...

well that all depends on how much you spend on them. you could stop 7100 and hope they can fend for themselves!

Yeah, cuz $7100 will get them to what, 3? And that's if you feed them nothing but romen noodles from like 3 months old and make them wear a pillow case with holes in it for clothes! LOL
