This is the 2nd go round for me with the Karmann factory site. The 3 Merkur XR4Ti's I've owned for the past 20+ years ( I still have the 86 model that I bought new) were also assembled at the Karmann factory.

 

It's hard to do that for you, once you press send, it's gone!

 

For future edification, please do as I: copy and paste before sending vis-a-vis a word processor document and then save it before sending.
It may not be important here, but someday, somewhere you will wish you had a record.

I couldn't agree more with this feedback. I typically just make a PDF file of whatever I need to save for future reference. For business purposes, this is especially important to be able to refer back and see history of events and/or eMail trails.

I purchased an ’05 Chrysler Crossfire Graphite Roadster and am very pleased with it! I love the way it handles – it is the best car I have ever driven – and I drive it whenever possible (I avoid taking it out in bad weather!). But most of all I think the looks are fantastic and enjoy all the attention it gets. A day doesn’t go by that at least one person remarks about how nice the car looks, or how impressed they are with it. I had one guy in a pickup follow me off the highway to a restaurant parking lot just to get a better look at it! I spent 20 minutes showing it off and explaining all the features it has.

I have seen Karmann decals and badges on other Crossfires and would like to add them to mine to show off the manufacturer of this wonderful automobile. Can you please let me know how I can obtain these items?

I sent mine off in December (yes, I received confirmation of the email being sent), but I haven't heard back, yet. We'll see if anyone else starts getting replies. Maybe the emails from December were deleted while everyone one was celebrating the holidays

 

I modified Jon's email and sent it this morning. Will report back if I get the goodies.

 

Not a problem, BUT of course being in business for 40 years, I do save documents that are important.

I still have one Karmann sticker if you need it I could be wrong....but it seems to me, that most of us received them by using their form, and not a direct email to someone.

Sent my email to Karmann at the end of last week -- received the two badges and two stickers in the mail this morning! Very cool. Also sent a little card in German that was hand-signed. Couldn't believe the response came so fast! So seems like a bit of a crap shoot. Just sent an English note saying I loved the car, was really looking forward to getting out in it this summer, and asked politely for badges to show everyone who really made the car.

Of course, haven't actually picked up the Roadster I bought yet, so no place to put the stickers and badges yet. Too much snow the past few weeks to get to the dealership, so no massive rush. Soon as I see grass again in my backyard, I'm off!

 

The third attempt I made last week, was by emailing them not using the website. I got a decal, two badges and a nice letter today. So my advice is to use that email someone provided on another page, but not to use the website anymore!

My Karmann care package arrived Saturday. I was amazed, the envelop was unsealed and nothing was missing.

 

Hey Jon, glad you didn't get any hail damage. Can't say the same for mine, but I've got a friend thats a PDR Pro whose going to fix Bridgette on a weekend for me. Tried your letter with some mods, see if it works this time.

Man, that sucks - I don't know what I'd do if my car got "hailed" -- probably go ballistic...good luck on the repairs and the decals & badges.
