Took the coupe this Memorial weekend up to Northern Michigan (Charlevoix) and got 29.2 mpg! And I used the "Touring Gear" luggage for the first time. This car is so cool. Putting 24K a year on it, so I'll hit the end of the 3/36 by Christmas and have to rely on the 7/70. But so far, no problems.

Did you guys get whacked by any of the storms yesterday?

 

Oh Yeah. Sunday was to be sunny and warm, but we watched the storms roll on in instead. Came in over Beaver Island from your end of the world and it kept us indoors all day. Monday was cloudy, but no precipitation: The opposite of the prediction.

 

You can count on rain during the Mem. Day weekend more than you can count on the sun rising!

 

Sorry to hear about the rain guys. We had an absolutely gorgeous weekend here in PA/ NJ. Drove to the shore for a fishing trip on Sunday. Got 27.7 MPG, my best ever.

How did the luggage work for you? Did it fit in the coupe?

I am picking mine up this week, and wonder if it will actually fit. (I have the coupe.)

 

Fit great. Wheeled case first and then the two soft-sided pieces fit in fine. (I wonder if all three will fit in the roadster with the top up.)

When you get them, be sure to register them with the manufacturer. These are great pieces of luggage, I must say. But the fact the case wheels match the car's and the hood speed lines are repeated on the main piece is too damn cool.
