See, now what the OFFICER should have done was say "Yessa Massa, I done check yo reckod and it be right clean sir, so jus run along now and get dat dere sticka taken care ob and we jes foget dis hoe ting now sir. I know dat badge dere say Kinte sir, but you jus go head and rememba me as Toby sir." That might have been more to his liking. He's AP right? So was I. I wonder if he'll get the allusion.

P.S. We're not all like this; there are cultured, intelligent people in Tx.

Well, I started off trying to give ncognito some light ribbing due to his consistent barrel-chested remarks regarding being a law enforcement officer. In particular due to his remark about him not doin his job if you feel good after he is done with you. Now, that isn't a very nice thing to say. As I said, I am around police all the time. There are plenty who are on the job risking their lives to actually make a difference who would never say something like ncognito said. There are those people who do choose to become officers for the wrong reasons. That is the category I was referring to.

The man obviously can't take sarcasm, nor can he take ribbing too well. Seems like quite the smart a$$ to me. Just my opinion. Ok, back to cars.

Ole doc, obviously threads can be misleading and/or misinterpreted. No need for you to get involved when you don't know the whole situation. It was a simple barrage of light-hearted sarcasm and ribbing between ncognito and me. But, thanks for your input. If you knew my character and what I've done/do for other people, you'd think differently; however, as said before, writing is emotionless, so the tone can be much worse than intended.

Resident A-hole out.

A large part of my job is to punish people for breaking the law. If you are happy after the County punishes you, you either need a mental exam, or the County needs stiffer laws. It has nothing to do with me personally. It's just common sense. Our job is to make you unhappy, and to regret what you did. If you think that is being mean or whatever, fine. It's just the facts.

As for being a smart ****, I'll accept that. I'm allowed to be. No one said you have to like it. Once again, I'm not in the business of making friends.

After reading all of the comments by Texfire71. He/she/black/white/etc,etc, could be anybody in real life. This is the internet. Do you know this person personally (would you really want to). Doesn't talk like a 17 year old. The person sounds more like someone older trying to make everyone think he/she really is a kid. Probably just what they wanted. To get reactions and a laugh. Reactions anyway. Looks like they have. This thread never dies, just keeps turning into another thread..and another, and another.

The last part was tough on her mom and dad because we had to drive her everywhere She also does cross country and track. She has zero free time.

Good luck. How fast were you going?
Tough love is hard for us parents, sometimes it's best for the child. You just hope lesson learned.

Ever heard the saying “Arguing on the internet is like winning the Special Olympics. Even if you win, you are still retarded.” ?

who's arguing? all i said was that he sounded like a kid, someone didn't agree, and they got pissy about it.

and since you stepped up, Mr. Turd, i'll have you know that my nephew has participated in the Special Olympics, and i am very proud of him.

Actually mentally challenged is just a pc term, the clinical term still really is retarded. I bet what he really meant was stupid seeing as how the person/people to which he was referring almost undoubtedly has an I.Q. above 75. And as for the special olympics, they are competing amongst their peers and being the best in an event is definately something to be proud of. If there were olympic games for 48 year old men do you think you'd win at anything?
