Hey everyone, i just want to start of by saying that if this isnt a proper area of forum then let me know.

I just joined this forum yesterday, i've had a xfire for few months now, but i've only started planing the tuning it recently and thats how i came to find ur site.

I drive an 04 black limited coupe. As of right now its completly stock but during the next 2 weeks i plan to put some new stuff on it and u can count on my posting pictures for feedback.

As for the actual performance upgrades for near future i plan to put on CAI and one of the throttle booster things, I also would like to ask you for some pro advice, for example which booster i should get and should i get 1 or 2 CAI.

For the visual changes im getting my headlights and rear lights tinted at 20%, getting HID lights (go ahead make fun of my for getting tinted HIDs), painting my stock wheels black ( i just really like the way stocks look, shape wise) painting the calipers yellow, and possibly painting the engine cover black/yellow to kind of match the wheels. im also considering a mash grill, but im not sure about that yet.

Back to me, i live in Chicago subs, im 17 years old and xfire is my first car, i think its a pretty good start and im really enjoying it despite the few down sides of the car i think its great.

The next section has (in my opinion) the down sides, so u dont have to read it.

I know some of u won't agree but of those of you who care to read i'll point out the few things that i dont really like, First of all the fact that its hard to see out of the back gets a bit annoying, especialy because i back in to the garage and i almost scraped the paint a few times and when i just got the car i had to do it with the boot open (it was the first week with the car and first week with my licence), secondly being a high school student i sometimes regret not having back seats, i also find the ride a bit too hard, in the area around my house and on my way to school the roads arent exactly smooth, Lastly, i do most of my driving going to school and back, which is about 4 miles, on that jurney i have about 6 trafic lights and a few more turns/ stop sights so i strugle to get 20 mpg plus a do have a big of lead feet, so i guess that could be excused.

I hope i will have some good times on this forum with you guys and will also pick up some expert advise.

Here is a pic i took a day after i got it, few months ago, it still looks the same for now, but not for long

Welcome to the forum. I too live in the burbs (Aurora) and also have a 04 coupe.
I have a Sprint Booster and a "Needswings" cold air intake (CAI)
Lots of pics and albums in my gallery too.

Have fun with the car and post some pics soon.

Also you may want to join some of the other locals with the Crossfire for a meet this Sunday in Schaumburg.
Click here for more details and post or send me a PM if you can come.
We encourage all the locals to join us.
