Default A little bit of fun!

I had the chance to race a few cars the other day, first time I had acctually raced anyone, in the Xfire that is. Raced a Z28, probably a 00-03 model, and WON!! Also raced a 95 M3 coupe with an older woman driving and she acctually raced me, I won by about a half a car lenth. It was close.

Oh and on another note, I busted a front wheel and tire on a pot hole on one of NC's finest maintained roads (not). Im highly frustrated, and out about 500 bucks. Back to the factory wheels for now.

You should be able to file a claim against the state. They usually cover this type of damage from pot holes. I know Illinois does.

To claim against the state (in NC) I think you must have previously notified the city regarding the pot-hole, then you can claim against them.
But then if you already know about the pot-hole you should be able to avoid it.

I will post pictures of the busted wheel later. I will check into filling a claim. Those wheels and tires take a beating around here. There are lots of pot-holes and road defects, the cold winters and bad road upkeep take there tolls on the roads near the mountains.

Thanks guys.

On the way home from the dyno with my new pulley I had a NSX pass me while I was just cruising down the 101 fwy ! SOO feeling the need for speed I let him get about a car &1/2 ahead of me and I waited to see if he would keep excellerating and he did sooo I put my foot down to the floor and flew pass him in 1-2 seconds he tried to keep up but finally gave up as I kept getting farther ahead of him ! Man this pulley blows the others off the road ! And this was without the air-intake mod! I can't wait!

In Maryland your responsible for the damage. The insurance company will cover it, but write it up as an accident. An accident your responsible for. Just as though you hit someone with your car. Make sure you check it out first before you report it.
It must have been an automatic, and a very old lady in that 95 M3. I have owned one and it had no problems doing late 13's 1/4 mile. My 98 M3 with a chip does easy low to mid 13's.
