Default finally posting...

I've been lurking the site for quite a while, learning lots about the crossfire, and getting some great ideas on some modifications.

I got my crossfire in april as a late B-day gift to myself, and i love it, as do all my friends. I have a blast showing it off to all the guys here and taking them out for a ride that'll put'm in their seats!

Only having owned it for a little over a month, i'm looking at doing a few things to the crossfire. Firstly i would like to modify the exhaust and make it dual X-pipe exhaust, X'd directly after the cats and run back into a magnaflow muffler (don't remember the number, but it was referred by a forum member).

Second, i'm looking at getting some different wheels, some that match the car. Not to say i don't like the factory wheels, just making it my own.

Third, My big electronics project is to install my PS3 in the trunk area on the slanted "shelf" on the wall behind the seats, then install a medium sized LCD in the glove box. I'll need a power inverter and an LCD that'll work. Not a very practical mod at all, but once again, just making it my own little "showcar".

Fourth, i would like to install the door sill lights for the car as well, not having any makes this a difficult project though...

Fifth, definatly going to debadge it and put on the crossfire emblems, plus a window tint.

I've got an '04 Black Limited Coupe, and i'm located in the Baltimore Area, i've seen 3 crossfires total around here, and they're the same ones. I'd love to go riding or meet up with any of ya if you're in the area!

If anyone has any suggestions or anything about any of my projects, please, let me know!

Thanks guys and gals,
Seabass

Happy birthday !!

I'm sure that this forum will be of use to you.

For cosmetic mods, I like the door sills and the CTD stainless brake handle.
For performance, I'd try a cold air intake, sprint booster and ECU reflash.

If you can, come to the meet at the Tail of the Dragon 10/31 - 11/2.
Costumes for you and your car are optional.
Maybe I'll give mine an eye patch and put a sword in the umbrella rack, but then I'd have to dress as a parrot.

I have an Xbox 360 and Xbox that I use on my Kenwood KVT-M700. Works fantastic and I just disabled the emergency brake bypass so my girl can watch DVDs while I drive. Or if I need the navigation she can still listen to music or TV while I see the navigation.

Works great, try and get a slide out LCD unit from Kenwood, they make several that match real nice.

Welcome to the fold. There are two other owners I know of in Balmer....Icon (Chas) and Irwin, probably more. Both post here. I'm a bit south of you in the Burtonsville area.
Welcome to the forum!

MAYAman, anyway you can give me a basic walkthrough of how you set it all up? Pictures would be a help too. I was looking at the indash DVD screens, but i just don't like the look of those. It's going to be a bit more difficult, but i really want to put something in the glovebox.

Pat, I'm actually up in aberdeen. But we could still cruise around the baltimore area, or where ever.

Anywho, thanks for the help!
