Default Outside mirrors "foggy"

Did a search and also checked the TSB's - found nothing.

My roadster outside mirrors are crystal clear, even with sunlight hitting them.

The SRT6 outside mirrors have a slight cloudiness to them towards the outside (away from the car), like the silver plating is starting to deteriorate. It kind of looks like residue from a glass cleaner when you don't remove it all. I've washed them multiple times and there is no change, so it appears to be in the mirror itself.

Any ideas? Anyone having this problem?

Try using a little straight rubbing alcohol. May be residue from "spray detailer" or "car wax" some are extremely hard to remove from glass once dried.

I guess it is some kind of residue (some chemicals maybe?) on the glass surface. One time I have a foggy spot on my windshied, unknow cause, and it took me four to five times of car washes with extra extra strength of forceful spot cleaning rubbing over and over to get rid of the foggy spot.

I don't think it is the problem with the silver plating of the mirror, otherwise it would looks like some dark rusting-like spots.
