Congrats Gary on your 1 year Anniversary. I celebrated my 3 year Anniversary on April 1st. with my car in the shop, AND IT'S STILL THERE!!
Now that the weather is turning nice, I'm glad some people have theirs to enjoy.

It is 72 degrees in Chi-town today so it's a beautiful day for a drive. We will have lunch together and then head back.
Gary, that just sounds so awesome! Have a great lunch and trip with your mom.. Oh yeah, your CF looks great..

Hey Mike,

At least you still have a Crossfire (or is it a 'New' AMX)! 3 down & at least one to go (I hope!)

You must have been really lost LOL.
Well actually I did a lot of driving last summer and then I discovered this awesome forum while doing a goggle search for mods and accessories.
Since then 2311 posts and several new friends from Crossfire meets.
I love it here as much as I love my car. I log on everyday as most of you probably already know.
Don't get me wrong ....I do have a wife of 12 years and a life but I don't miss a day on the forum.
Well except while away a few weeks ago at the Tail of the Dragon.
As I said to the people there I was living the forum in LIVE form.
I chose to leave my laptop at home.

Thanks for the kind words Patty.
My mom is terrific. She is 78 and still pretty active.
I talk to her daily and see her at least once a week.
Everyone should cherish all the moments they have with their parents.
Once they are gone they will be able to hold on to the good memories of time spent together.
My dad passed away in 2002 at age 76 peacefully at home and my mom has moved on fine with the love of our family.

Gary, Mom is still looking pretty good & I'd be willing to bet she gets in & out of the Xfire w/o any help.
Congrats on the year & your car STILL looks purty!

Great to have you here Gary! My mom turns 80 next week. I told her about how a good friend of mine recently gave his mom a mini cooper for her birthday but I was NOT going to buy her one of those. She said "that's OK, you can buy me a Crossfire". WAY TO GO MOM!

Yup , I offer a hand and she says "no ,that's OK just give me a minute".
It's either lean down low and crawl into the Crossfire or step up and climb into the Ford Explorer (my other vehicle).

Nice! I like where you put the Karmann emblem. Did you decide against the slasher stripes?
