Wow, the dear was go 50? Just kidding. Glad to hear everything's OK. Guess there is a good reason for the front license plate. How's the dear?

i went back today and the deer was in the middle of someones yard about 30 to 40 feet up the road. i am lucky i did not hit the mom that was right infront of it or it would be through my windshield. the plate hit the deer in lower stomach and it slid down the road and into the yard. i just keep thinking how lucky i am haha

Just ask Irwin. Dodging a deer can be a really bad thing.
Makeithappen,
To bad for Bambi, glad you made it out OK.

I wasn't going to say it, but I just can't hold it in any longer.
It sounds like an "Insurance Job" to me.

NO, it is not an insurance job. Given the number of Crossfire/deer incidents, I think there may be a problem with the Crossfire. You know like the cup holder thingy

I don't mean to complain but....Chrysler should have done better.

I'm in full agreement with Kurts............Deer are EVIL!

Hell, here in Michigan, (I'm sure in Wisconsin too), you can't swing a dead cat by the tail without hitting a deer!

I'm sure this will get some replies......but oh well.........old expression.

Thanks, Apkano, you are EXACTLY correct. No insurance scam is necessary, besides, if I was gonna run a scam I'd go after something less potentially fatal, like a locomotive. Some poor guy got killed again this year with a deer ending up in his front seat with him & he was driving an Explorer. It's no joke, they are everywhere. At dusk or in the evenings I drive like the old lady in Apkano's video (now I can't find the thread, gol darn it!).

I smacked a boar head-on on my way to work one morning. That thing went flying across the road but luckily for me there was no damage, just the inner wheel lining was cracked and a nick from the tooth on the bumper.

It really sucks since you can't call the animal's insurance company for a claim
