'04 coupes mileage...
Re: '04 coupes mileage...
'04 Coupe 6 speed with 22,000 miles. Had to replace passenger seat heater once and it burnt out again after warranty ran out so im not worried about it. The passenger side window was off track when I bought it. The seal on my hatch leaks so I have a water spot on the headliner (I cleaned it off last week and it came back). My lifters have a slight rattly sound, although the engine did knock like crazy for a while until i started driving it a little more aggressively, go figure. I get a slight stumble sometimes at idle. The radio has a mind of its own occasionally. The cigarette lighter never worked. I have some small chips in the vinyl on my console and some wear on my driver's seat from when I get in and out. I have a rattle in my driver's door speaker and I don't blast music in it because the stereo isn't the best sounding to begin with. I had a rattly hatch but I used some thick 3M tape to fix it. There is the infamous rust in my door. My spoiler squeaks when going up.
It may sound like I hate the car, but my biggest complaint is that the exhaust is too damn quiet! But, I will say that I am appalled at so-called German/Mercedes quality. My mothers old 2000 Neon with 143,000 miles has been a much better car, and so have the full-blooded Chryslers we've always driven, but I can't keep myself out of the car and all the looks I get and the joy of driving it far outweight all the minor niggles I've had/have

Re: '04 coupes mileage...
I have an '04 Alabaster Coupe, just turned 21,000 miles. This is my daily driver but only have a 10 minute drive to work, city or highway, depends on the Corp of Engineers. They control the locks on the city route. The only issue I have is the seat on the driver side doesn't heat, only the back does.
Re: '04 coupes mileage...
I just got mine back from the dealer (a great 5 star dealer at that) and had them replace the two seat heaters, the two front headlights, and some tappets or lifters. I've been having a problem at about 1200 to 1800 RPM that wont go away. Like Coupegirls car, a loud tapping, clicking noise from the engine. Well, the service manager was out with me and we started it up, and the sound was still there. He is going to check with the Chrylser rep this friday and let me know what they will do. I know its there, they know its there, so we will see what happens. So far a good car, a bit confined when driving, but the styling is great. I just wish the would replace the motor and be done with it, but that's wishful thinking.
