This dealer shows to have a boat load of 2008 xF's, what a party! I have not been there recently but looked there several times 4th Qtr of 2007, they do carry xFs but this is more than maybe any other dealer?? Does you dealer have more in stock?

Holy smokes. The site says 66 new xfires. That makes for a nice selection for the customer but seams like too many for any one dealer. They better be ready to discount them heavily.

 

that was the one thing i was curious about.... were they going to discount them like they did the '06 and '07 models they still had on their lot earlier. i mean there is nothing different except a new model year rebranded on the vin number... that i know of that is. and i think you're right inferno.... 66 is a helluva lot for one dealer. especially when they are not even the #1 seeling xfire dealer in houston. they are at least #3. deerbrook forest CJ on the northeast side and spring CJ on the norhtwest side easily sell more xfires than they do.... may they want to change that. i may have to go stop by and look at their inventory... ill let you know if they are discounting haha.

they have only the LTD's in the '08 models. Roughly half and half coupe/roadster. all the colors. build numbers range from 074266-075177.

p.s. just fyi so no flaming goes back in forth. you are both right... they do in fact have 66 crossfires on the lot inferno, but only 64 of them are 2008 models. the other two...2006

 

An ad in the Houston Chronicle today says $7,000 off of list price, which of course is not a great deal. Double that would be a good deal. I think the ad was from the same dealer, not sure paper is gone.

I purchased my 2006 basic roadster with special edtion package from Archer at 12,888 off sticker. It was the easiest car purchase I ever had. They matched the same discount that Spring Chrysler was posting on their website. I was in and out of the dealer in one hour.

 

haha 7k off? thats funny cause chrysler is offering 10k instant off.... so the math doesnt add. with all the xfires down there i would def be there looking to find the one i want.

 

I actually live only about 2 miles from that dealer. but did NOT buy my XFire from them. Instead I purchased at another dealer that was 13 miles away from my house. When I was looking, they did not have any 08's yet but they had 2 new 06's. They wanted more for their 2006 Xfires than the other dealers wanted for their new 2007's. Seriously, they wanted $29K + TTL for a 2006 Xfire! And they would nto budge from that price. I was able to get my new 2007 XFire from another dealer for $25K +TT !

The salesman even tried the tactic "These cars are going fast and I have 2 other customer that are seriously looking at them" to get me to buy! To which I replied... "yes I can see how fast they are selling given that they are left overs from 2006! "

Spring Chrysler! If you do decide to buy there. Look for Ron *** and tell him Dillin sent ya. He'll treat ya good... I don't know if they have any Crossfire inventory though... I new that they were running $15K off MSRP for Crossfires in previous ads...

 

yeah i've been over there. the only highlight of their inventory was the used srt-6 they have on the lot. other than that i wasn't really liking what they had. mostly automatics, very few manuals. where in houston do you live? im up on the NE side.

 

Central Chyrsler in Norwood Ma was running an ad in the Boston Herald offering $10,000 off the list price on a 2008 XFire. I would imagine that's their starting point and the actual car could be had for less.

There are bargains out there if you just shop around.

haha actually haven't seen any on this side of town. i know there is a couple in the woodlands (but haven't seen them) and a couple on my side of town... i'm sure there are some on the south side too. but again, very rarely see any on the roads.

 

As many as I see in The Woodlands, there must be quite a few, because I am seeing different cars. There is a lady that has a nice black SRT6 that really looks good. There are 3-4 black Xfires in The Woodlands. One fellow I spoke with has three. One coupe and two roadsters. Imagine that.

It seems that the Chrysler dealers (Spring, Archer) on the north side of Houston have stocked/sold more Crossfires than other parts of the city.

Archer Chrysler on the NW Freeway has 64 2008 Limited XFires in stock. You can get about any Limited you desire.

Wow. I hope those prices stick...seems expensive to me...your Chysler dealers do dealer trades all the time if you have a specific dealer you like to work with...they can find you what you want...just my .02
