New '07 Coupe in Toledo, Ohio
New '07 Coupe in Toledo, Ohio
Hello from Ohio.I just picked up a 2007 Limited Coupe with 14K miles, silver blue metallic/black. Paid $18,000 at a local Chrysler dealer. A one owner Chrysler executive car with a clean Carfax. I will be using for my daily commuter 50 miles each way except winter months. I kept my old Jeep for winters which can be snowy, icy and salty in northern Ohio. I love the car so far. It seems to have all the options except Nav. I ordered a portable Garmin 660. If anyone has any advice regarding mounting a portable Nav unit in a Crossfire I would sure appreciate hearing about it. I am also wondering about tires (thinking ahead). I will search this forum for tire comments. I may look into roll flats since there is no spare. I am very pleased to find a great forum like this for the Crossfire.
Other cars:
1990 Nissan 300ZX Ttop NA 5M 60K miles black/black(sweet).
2006 Jeep Commander (wife's)
1997 Jeep Cherokee (beater)
1982 Z28 Camaro (project)

Congrats & Welcome to the Forum!!!!!!
There are a few threads on "Run Flat" tires, they are hard to find in a staggered fitment, will give a very harsh ride and are very expensive. Put and keep a good tire plug kit, needle nose pliers and a flashlight in your trunk.

The tire plug kit is a great idea. It never would have ocurred to me. I will get one and put it in the car and hope to never need it. It sounds like the best alternative to the expensive and hard riding rollflats. Many thanks CrossfireLTD.
MrF: I purchased my Crossfire at O'Hara Chrysler which is about 40 miles north of Toledo. They were the most willing to negotiate on price and had some good slightly used ones. Are you in the Toledo area?

Congrats on your 2007 Crossfire. As a transplanted Miamian formally from To-lee-do, I will say that Toledo was a great place to grow up, but Miami is a much nicer place to live year round.
What area do you reside? I grew up off Richard's road between Door and Bancroft on the wrong side of the tracks from Ottawa Hills. LOL
