Finally I found a perfect match...But is a Marine Radio...Will it fit... I have a crossfire limited...

The thing...is the color on the Marine Radio Matches perfect the silver on the crossfire...

I don't see why it wouldn't, the best thing to do is to call them. they might be able to get it in silver.

 

The only difference I see, other than color, between the 2 is the marine unit is not bluetooth compatible whereas the 1 from crutchfield can be adpated for bluetooth. If that's important to you.

The marine radio will fit. I read on another thread where a member had installed it. I take it you have the "special" tools to remove the radio? Apparently, it makes removing the radio a breeze.

Let us know how it turns out and take some pics if possible.

Btw, what color is your XF? I work in the MIA LKS area and have seen quite a few XFs around.

I called Alpine tech support this week about it. The Marine radio wont be out until April sometime. The automotive (black) is available now. The Marine is $50 more but the same radio. The rep said the removable faceplate is the only difference. You will be able to get a silver faceplate from Alpine soon. He did not know the price but the older version the faceplate was $75. I ordered the black, to be sure I get all the right auto install guide and stuff and figure I will get a silver face plate later.

If you see a white crossfire, around miami lakes...that probably will be me...jejejje... I live and work in Miami Lakes...

I'll buy that radio and see how it looks... I hate the original radio on this cards...

Looking forward to hearing how the install came out. I'm sure we'll be seeing each other on Miami Lakes Drive since I work on 59th ave and Mia Lks Dr and see the other Xfs pass by all the time.
