I'm going to disagree here, or at least disagree in some situations. For me, the base made much more sense. I wanted black (the base only comes in black). I wanted the 6 speed manual (only wanted the manual). I thought that the cloth seats were comfier than the leather, I live in Texas, so not too much need for seat warmers, and the power seats aren't really necessary as I'll be the only one driving. The only thing I really wanted was the nicer stereo.

I paid $18,100 for a brand new 07 base coupe with 40 miles on the clock. They had two new 06 limiteds that I couldn't negotiate lower than $22,500. As you can see, the $4,400 difference was not worth having a nicer stereo and a few creature comforts I really didn't need. $4,400 makes a BIG difference on those car payments.
