There needs to be permission, coordination & a possible contribution to the Meet from any 'Official' Vendors attending!
This a a good Idea, but it might need some coordination with all the Xfires & Events Scheduled.
(Saturday is Very Tight & the Big Day, I would suggest only early Friday or late Sunday, after all the events, unless they are just coming for the tune & not participating in the Events & Runs with the other 50 Crossfires)
Please, shoot me a PM & let me know when I can call you about this, OK?
Also, where are you located & can you tell us a little bit about yourself?
(There is No Information in your Profile?)
Also, I Believe this is the Wrong Place for a Vendors Advertising, it should be in the Marketplace forums!

TVT - feel free to come to Woodward. We just cruise, look at cool cars (and other things as apkano pointed out), eat some good food, and down a few pints.
Cheers.
Re: Tail of the Dragon Tuning Specials
I guess I'm confused now! I thought this was a GTG like last years Woodward Cruise. I thought it was just a bunch of crossfire members getting together to have some fun and attend the events they wish to. I don't remember anyone stating a cost and must attend all events. I would like to know cost and if we are free to do what we wish at the GTG. It starting to sound like I may just wait for Woodward.
Re: Tail of the Dragon Tuning Specials
Something "just doesn't feel right" about this and I am starting to think that I need to go with my gut. I have wasted much more than $75 before. Maybe we can get Anthony to come to the track with us in FL sometime soon....or, even meet us up in PA at the Nationals.

Re: Tail of the Dragon Tuning Specials
I had no idea that participating in every scheduled event is MANDATORY and if one so chose to sit out one event in order to do something else, permission would be required? That is a long way to drive and be told what I can and can't do. Maybe we need to rethink this....

Re: Tail of the Dragon Tuning Specials
I am going and coming with Crossfirefrank and we intend to do whatever we choose. I have had a few PM's with Silverfox and he knows that each member attending will have the choice to deviate from his rather structured schedule as they wish. This schedule is only a time line and not a requirement in my opinion. I believe Silverfox will clarify this tomorrow when he is back on line here. I have heard nothing requiring members to pay anything other than their lodging rates and food etc. As for VENDORS paying fees I know nothing about that either but I also am not concerned because I am NOT a vendor. If you were planning on attending please do. The Dragon is a public road and the event is whatever us as members want to make it IMO. Gary
PS... My thanks still goes to Silverfox for all he has done to coordinate this meet.

Re: Tail of the Dragon Tuning Specials
I just spoke to Silverfox and the entire day has been a bit of a misunderstanding.
First, the schedule is more of a tentative timeline to keep everything structured. For an event this size this is absolutely necessary and without this the event would be quite unruly. You are free to come and go as you please, do not hold the schedule as mandatory.
Second, there is no vendor fee or approval needed. He has never heard of our company and was skeptical that an unknown company was trying to commercialize what he intended to be a pleasant Xfire gathering. He was only looking out for the member's best interests. We went over the details and everything is squared away.
Third, we will deffinately be there. We need to speak to the hotel this week about internet usage as that is necessary for the tuning. We will be establishing a thread and schedule for members to reserve spots for tuning or product installation. A deposit will be required to hold your spot. More details will be provided when we have them.
I think that should pretty much clear everything up. If you were thinking of coming I urge you to still come. The more the merrier. I look forward to seeing all the members there and we will have a little surprise to unveil at the event...

Registration, Common Meet Costs. Vendors, etc.
Not 1 Dime has been asked for, Not 1 Dime has been received!

Re: Tail of the Dragon Tuning Specials
You can do whatever you want at the Dragon. Bill has taken his time to plan out an activities schedule for those coming from out of the area. If you want to follow along on the big loop drive, or just run back and forth on the Dragon all day, or sit at the lodge and take in the great view, that will be your choice. There is no fee involved for anyone to join along. Last Nov. everyone that I'm aware of, participated in the events that he scheduled for us. Then at night back at the lodge, everyone broke into different groups and had dinner when and where they wanted. If the next morning's meeting is say 10am, then if you want to join up, be there. If not, then you are free to do whatever you'd like that day.
One of the best parts about these gatherings are the group participations. It's about meeting and talking with everyone, pictures, driving for 110 miles on twisting back roads in a line one behind the other, stopping at preplanned picture spots for more group photo's, taking over some side of the road eatery with an invasion of Crossfires, things like that!! If you've never put together one of these GTG's, you have no idea on this earth the time and effort that is involved. I know for a fact that he's put in over 50 hours that had nothing to do with the time he's spent on the forum. He's made numerous trips up there, drove many many back roads looking for photo spots, a bathroom break spot, a place to make sure that everyone is still there and not lost someplace, finding knew roads that we could drive that would be different than the Nov trip. I know this because I've spent hours on the phone and PM'ing back and forth with him on different ideas. I know Bill does this GTG for the same reasons that I do the ones in Orlando, it's fun for everyone. We like our Crossfires and we've like all the new friends that we've made since owning them. After going in April, you'll get back home, log onto our forum, and you'll see a post from someone you met, and now you know the person behind that screen name. It'll just make the trip that much more worth while.
Come and join along, you won't regret the trip.
My many thanks go out to Silverfox for all the effort he's put into this GTG.

Re: Tail of the Dragon Tuning Specials
Hello, I have had several ECU tunings done in the past on Crossfires.
While I was unaware of your ability to code the ECU I have had InMotion of Oregon do them. Though I have been very pleased with their service and performance outcomes what do you offer that may be worth sending my present ECU to you for service? My newest stock ecu is for a SRT what type of increase do you install HP wise?
I have had some claim a before and after HP but since there is differences in the Stock HP ratings I prefer a simple HP increase number.
I just hope if you can help me with both affordability and performance over InMotion we can start doing business. I have done about 4 to 6 per year over the last 2 years.
Thank you,
Mike

That's a Good Question!
Mike, Quoted that correct, the Cost of the Meet is Zip, except for Hi Octane used & some Rubber left on the Dragon (& Some Great/Fun Time, which you will NEVER Forget, ask anyone that was there last year)!
BTW I negotiated a 25% (Almost $25. / nite) discount for us if we provided a certain # of Rooms & I said I would! ( So I would Say, "Hey, I saved you $50+ w/ taxes{for 2 nights}, go ahead and buy a Tank of Hi-Test on Me & the Lodge, and Run that Dragon!")
See ya at the Spring Dragon Meet, for what ever you want & when ever you want it! Tunes, Dragon Runs, The Big Loop, Great People, or All of the Above!
(At your own pace & chosen time!)
Bill (SF)

Anyone interested in this new ECU for an upgrade while you at the dragon?
