Default Mandrus

Man,

Tried to order some Mandrus Milleniums today. Everyone is out! They are on backorder from the factory till April or later!!!! What? C'mon, the manufacturer needs to step up production or something!! I hate that when a manufacturer underestimates the demand! Put a product out there and ensure it is produced in the correct numbers. This isn't the first time these wheels have been on back order! I'm pi$$ed!

Try eBay for the wheels. I ordered one replacement 18" Mandrus Millenium for my car about a week ago. Buywheelstoday (the seller) has the hyper silver 18 and19 inch wheels that fit a Crossfire on eBay. I use the 8.5 32 offfset on front and 9.5 35 offset on rear. I believe they also have the chrome Milleniums as well.

Woodlands1, Great choise of wheels. I really like them, are they chrome vs. the polished that come on our cars?

No, the wheels I have are the hyper silver with a polished rim. However, Mandrus does sell the same wheel in chrome.

Yep, I've found the 18s and 19s (rear) in stock, but I'm going for the 19 x 8.5 and 20 x 10 sizes. I want the look of the SRT6 stock wheels, just a little shinier and a plus 1 size.

I'll keep an eye out.

Nice choice of wheels Sidez. They look very similar to the Asanti wheels. The price of the Mandrus wheels is hard to beat. I won't have to worry about them as much as I would if they were double the price. They are heavy though! The Iforged wheels will probably weigh less than the stock wheels depending on the size you went with. Are you going to lower the car or have you done so already?

This car sold me on the Mandrus. Before this, I thought the SRT wheels were hard to beat. The larger size and polished lip looks really good. I would call it and improved stock appearance.

Mine is at tirediscounters right now getting new mandrus milleniums put on. I bought them from buy wheels today which is tirediscounters. It took them about three weeks to get them but i think they'll be worth the wait.

What size did you get? Post pics when finished.

I did have them on order and they were being delivered two weeks ago, but I blew my knee out severely and had to cancel unfortunately. I'll be doing rehab for the next 9 months or so.

They're just 18-8.5's up front and 19-9.5 in the rear. They look really good. They're hyper silver on a blaze red 04 coupe. The pics are up now in the member gallery or in my user gallery.

I really like the Mandrus Millenium Wheels and they look great on your coupe. I also have them on a Blaze Red.

Maybe they just look better on red car.

Looks good, but there is just something about the 19 and 20 combo. They go from ok to WOW!! Once my knee heals, I'll be getting a set!

I like the 19 20 combo too. It's just that i drive it everday and the ride already leans towards firm as it is. I like the firmness it has now i just don't think i'd like anymore. Plus one of the main reasons i got new wheels is because my old front ones were bent from potholes. And 19's on the front and especially the 20's on the back would have even less rubber to cushion them. But the 19 20 combo does look amazing.

How did you bend the front wheels? Potholes?

Yeah i live in Northern Kentucky so potholes are everywhere in the spring and i took it in like a month ago cause the steering wheel shook when you got up to about 60 and it made a thumping sound when you came to a stop or were going slow in general. I didn't hit anything other than the occasional pothole so that's what it must of been. They said the right front was pretty bad and the left front not much better. Oh well. I wanted new wheels and needed new tires anyway so it gave me a good excuse to go ahead and do both at the same time. And sure enough with the new wheels and tires it's all fixed. Which is good cause i feered it could be something worse.

If my car was a daily driver, I also would opt for stock sizes. Too much of a hassle constantly looking out for pot holes.

Great choice on the wheels because they do look great.

What offsets are you using on the front and rear? I don't use spacers on mine and haven't encountered any rubbing problems.

The front has a 32 offset and it doesn't rub without spacers.

Any recomendations on what size rear spacers i should use to get them flush with the body at the top? The fronts are perfect but the backs sit in a little. 15mm? 20mm?

Thumbs up Re: Mandrus

Ordered my MANDRUS MILLENIUMs yesterday, Hyper Silver w/Mirror Cut Lip, along with GENERALTires from local (78028) Discount tire store. Should all be here and on the car in about 2 weeks (?) . Putting 265-30-19 on rear. Will make the actual speed read 58.6 @ 60mph on speedo. MANDRUS comparison charts at http://www.mandruswheels.com/millennium.html may also be viewed "On Your Car" at Discount Tire online along with dozens of other brands. Total out the door price $1981.00 includes S&H, Texas 8.25% sales tax, lifetime balance and rotation, FREE REPLACEMENT certificates, fitting/matching tires to wheels, installing my TPMS and reprogramming, and keeping my old wheels and tires mounted and aired. No free lunch, but what the hey?? Qoute from MFG: "Since all Mandrus wheels are made only for Mercedes, all technical aspects of the wheels are designed around Mercedes Benz motor vehicles. All wheels are hub centric for Mercedes and are designed for the OE Mercedes tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). Even the center cap on the wheel is made to allow you to use your OE Mercedes center cap."
