Default Got Some Questions

Okay so I'm back from the test drive. Of course so cov ered roads in ohio today so with them pulling it out the car almost got stuck lol. While sitting in the car I have some questions. Bear with me please

1st. With the spoiler I pressed the button and it went up automaticley. When I pressed doesn't on the button the spoiler did not go all the way down. I held it in and it closed followed by a beep in the car.
2nd. There was a passager airbag what appeared to be button on the console but it did not press in. Is that a light?
3rd. there is a dial near the hand brake that turns to the pasenger side and to the driver side. What is this?
4th. What do all season tires run?

The sales person knew nothing they even filled it with 87 I think The car is a blue silver color. I thought the color was nice, rare?

Any help let me know

Is there a site to download the manual for the 04?

Not sure about the motorized spoiler. Mine doesn't have one.
The passenger airbag 'switch' is on the far right side of the dash. You turn it on and off with a key. The passenger door must be open to do this. The part on the front console is a light telling you if it is off or on.
The 'dial' is for the power mirrors.
Tires are expensive. No bones about it. What kind of tires does it have?

87, ick. It needs premium fuel.
The color sounds like Sapphire Silver Blue. Not sure what color is the rarest. Probably Gray.
What year was the Crossfire? I assume it was a Coupe?
Hope that helps.

1. Don't know have SRT
2.It is not a button, its a light up you can turn on//off the passanger airbag via a keyhole in the passanger door, this is created for transporting small children that die from airbags...
3.This is for adjusitng side mirrors..
4.Check tire rack, but around $1000 for decent ones

No pisswater is recomended for this car 91 Octane min...

the blue silver you are reffering to is called sapphire silver blue and I think it's the ugliest color except the dull yellow that the crossfire ever came in, but that is just my oppinion so take it with a grain of salt.. as for rarity it is definatly a lot less common than black, or aero blue, but it is not one the rare colors like oyster or dull yellow...

Cool Re: Got Some Questions

1) The spoiler automatically goes up at 60 - 63 mph and will lower at 40 - 42 mph. The spoiler can be manually raised by pressing the spoiler button, no beep going up but will beep when it is fully lowered.

2) That is the passenger airbag light, not a button.

3) The dial by the hand break is for the exterior mirrors.

4) ASP or "All Season Tires" will run you about $230.00 - $265.00 for the fronts and $245.00 - $285.00 for the rears, depending on the brand.

5) The color is SSB or Sapphire Silver Blue" not rare at all.

The car requires and should be filled with 93 octane ONLY!!!!!

Your spoiler switch is working correctly. Holding it down until it is completely lowered and then the beep tells you it is all the way down. Just so you dont have to look.

Yeah I questioned him on the gas he said I didn't know but I knew he was wrong. Pressing the sppoiler button made it go up automaticly but you have to hold the button in to lower it, is that normal?

Sorry just saw the above response answered my question

If the car is moving forward faster than 5 MPH (I think) you can just push the spoiler button to lower it automatically. If you're at a standstill you must push and hold the button to lower it.

okay I have another one. The car obviously doesn't have the 3 year 36,000 but is the 7 year 70,000 warranty still there, is it transferable, and how do I transfer it?

The answer to this question depends on the date of manufacture of the vehicle. This date can be found on the driver side door jamb. If the 2004 Crossfire was built before 10/1/2003, the 7/70 transfers automatically to any subsequent owners without any additional paperwork or fees. There is a $100 deductible for covered repairs though. If the car was built on or after 10/1/2003, the powertrain warranty is transferable only to the 2nd owner (not to third or subsequent owners) and the transfer has to be made in writing by a Chrysler dealer within 30 days of the date of your purchase. There would also be a $150 transfer fee you would have to pay. There are a few other limitations or restrictions so the best thing to do is read the warranty booklet that came with the vehicle, provided it's there.

On Chrysler's website they have a pdf of the warranty coverage you can download. However, there were two distinct warranty coverages as explained above, but Chrysler only has the latter manual on their site.

I hope this helps.

Since you're asking about the spoiler, when in automatic mode it goes up at 62 mph and down at 40 mph. I leave mine up since it is distracting when it pops up in my rear view mirror. I think the car looks better with it up, anyway.

If you search this site, you'll be able to find the manuals and the TSBs.
