Funny, yesterday we were watching Discovery Science, they had the guy showing the battery operated XFIRE on Beyond Tomorrow....kinda cool....

Weights less than the original like for 2 or 3 hundred pounds...

that's actually very cheap considering your gas cost is zero. maybe $20 month in electricity and $90 a year in maintnance. no more $100 synthetic oil changes.

should we start a poll thread? kleeman stage 4 tuning upgrade or lithuum-ion electric conversion? hmmmm... i think i would go electric.

That's what I was thinking! buy a used one for $12 change it too electric then... drive the gas one when I feel the need for speed!

Here is the link to the Hybrid Crossfire. 0-60 in a fast 12 seconds. Top speed 90mph.... I will keep my Crossfire engine. I think my 67 Bug could bet it.

what do you expect it's only got a 94hp motor. you could always upgrade, but then travel distance is down to probably 70miles, not bad.

by the way thiis not a hybrid.
