I guess every little bit counts... 15 lbs for the hood+ 10 or so for the seats (maybe more) then about 25 for the wheels would definately make a difference.. It's just going to be expensive, but hey it aint my money .

Sidez have you had anything covered on the interior? I was thinking of getting the center consol done...
I have not had anything on the interior done yet, only cause I want everything done at a single time if you know what I mean and just cant justify the cost of doing the interior the way I want YET... I am still doing all the wheel, brake, suspension mods.. In the interior I would like to do the dash in red carbon fiber, purchase an slk wood steering wheel and have the wood on it carbon fiber layed, the leather in ostrich leather, the sound system completly redone, and somehow fit a valentine1 in their and make it look very factory.. the cost of these mods is well into the thousands.. but i will get to it..

SRT_SIX has had his interior done in black carbon fiber and it looks very good the cost is not high either a couple hunderd.. I suggest you do it...

and then the cheap stuff: remove the a/c and the power steering and save another 30lbs. now your up to 55lbs lighter which is about .05 seconds faster in the 1/4 - seems a little/very silly to me.

Yeah in your perspective your correct. However I have managed to be more than 55 lbs liter. Its not a big deal I'm not going to be a pro racer its just something i want and like. As for the power steering and a/c I have had two cars without either and to me I see no real big difference except for the a/c in the summer. The (no) power steering was not bad at all. I actaully liked it more. For some reason I like my steering wheel and clutch very heavy. Very strange and weird. But whatever!

Just get an SRT6, that will fix all of your speed issues! It will probably be cheaper too.

yeah i love my 6speed!! =) and i could have gotten an srt6 but i didnt because i wanted to do something different. which is turbo charge or pro charge it. if i bought the stock super charger i would end up changing all internals and upgrade the super charger anyways. So I thought it would be best I just went with a coupe plus I got a super good deal on it!

yea i i dont want an srt6. personally i dont like the rims or the fixed spoiler but thats just my opinion. this guy i just met put on a rear mount turbo kit on his Xfire nd hes putting out 310 horse with 315 torque. he hasnt sent me the dyno sheet yet. but he sent me a pic. just look at my pics and youll see it. i talked to the guys that did his kit and the kit costed 2500 and the tune is 700. for that kinda power for 3200 dollars. vs. an srt which is like 10000 dollars more. ill take the kit. but thats just my opinion. hes had the kit on for 9000 miles and no problems. so this is sumthin im def. lookin into for the summer with the CF hood.

I still keep a 8/80 warranty, have a hand assembled engine, and don't have to worry about my internals suddenly ending up on the outside from improper fuel/air ratios, and stress from incorrect compression ratios and etc.

I don't believe there is a $10K spread between a Limited and an SRT-6. I believe the gap has narrowed substantially, but I could be wrong. There are so many factors that go into price, it is hard to compare the two models once the vehicles are sold by a dealer.
