New one, from Russia
Re: New one, from Russia
Welcome to the Forum Reactivator, Don't worry about the low prices. That's just normal market reactions to a sports car in the winter, and one that's been discontinued by a maker that was just sold to a new owner. Oh, and having a Chrysler nameplate doesn't help.
I've driven my car for over 30k miles, with no "underwater rocks" or other hidden problems at all. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.
You will get plenty of information and support here on this forum.
Good Luck with your future purchase.

I am sorry! We just talking about customs taxes, as I buying my car from USA. For example - for engine 3.2 litter - I will pay $11.000 plus $15.000 - $16.000 for car... Plus shipping.. etc
Something like $29.000 for not new car.
I dont know - how much in whole Russia, but in SPb - something like 50 i suppose
Oh thanks... That sounds great to me... But you know - russian roads situation is so dramatic... I hope that suspension is not so sporty, and more like mersedes ML (joke)

To all about pictures - yeah! I have a lot of ideas about photo session of my car and my city.

My Ex-London to Peking Niva
My Lada powered Silva Striker (sold it a while ago)

Yes, we have a lot of chrysler official dealers, and Mersedes-Benz too.
The main question for all - Why used Xfires are so cheap? May be, theres something that I dont know. Something like - "underwater rocks"?

It is good that you have Chrysler dealers. I hope they are better equipped to maintain your Crossfire than most technicians we have at U.S. dealers.
We have no idea why the value of the Crossfire has dropped so rapidly. You will find some complaints about the car on this forum, but they are in the great minority. Most forum members really like their car. I'll bet after you get your car and show it off in St. Peterburg, there will be more of your countrymen deciding they need to import a Crossfire from the U.S.
You will really like your car!

Maybe a note to the seller asking for clarification is in order.

If set cost under $1700 - I am going to buy it, and put in container with my crossfire.. That would be nice...

I am sorry, I cant find thread on the forum - about winter driving on Xfire. You guys put your car to garage at cold season?
Here In Spb we got 7 - 8 months of cold weather, and 6 with snow..
And what about winter tires? Is it possible to mount 16'' - 17'' rims with winter tires?
We got a lot of SLK - drivin all around year
