BRABUS aka StarTech
Re: BRABUS aka StarTech
NOTE: about 4 years ago I had eurorev about $300 including springs they put the eibach pro kit on my '04 Crossfire it will work on srt6s also But when you lower your car be sure to trim the bumpers in your OEM shocks ! or when you change to Konis this should be done also ! The rubber bumper is at the inside of each shock and you must remove and trim 1/2-1 inch off ! Otherwise your riding on it! It will ride rougher if not trimmed !
Re: BRABUS aka StarTech
Has anyone had ANY LUCK GETTING THE BRABUS/STARTECH GUYS TO CALL OR EMAIL YOU BACK????? WTF??? Seriously, I want to buy, but they don't seem to want to sell. I had the same problem with Andreas 2 years ago when buying my spoilers. Is it that busy at Brabus? Or are we just the red headed step child? I mean, money is money.

Re: BRABUS aka StarTech
Update: I picked up the SRT yesterday with the Eibach ProKit Springs and the Brabus OEM Bilsteins installed. Today I put a few miles on it and drove around all day to get a handle on the change. Because the front was a bit low immediately after changing the springs, I asked them to change out the original 9 mm spring pads. They installed the largest available, 21 mm pads. That has helped bring up the front end a bit, and is the max front pad thickness available.
The SRT's back end may have also settled a tad. I think it looks pretty good now. If I wanted to do any more, at some point I would have to check out how thick the rear pads are and consider change them into something a bit thinner as the back end it a bit higher over the wheels than the front. However this is not a big issue and it looks fine as is.
The car rides noticably smoother now when riding on bumpy surfaces, which the majority of time will be a benefit. However, I do notice a lessening of the "feel" of the road. If you like driving near the edge, I think you should consider installing the Eibach Sportline springs over the Eibach ProKit springs. In performance mode, Eibach Sportline's might represent a better compromise between the looser (looser being a relative term here) ProKits and the stiffer SRT stock springs. Which ever way you go, unless you're living your life at the track, I'd suggest changing ou the stock springs for aftermarkets. It's a worthwhile investment and your body will thank you.
As for other factors, I now have a touch of rubbing on the edge of one front tire or the other when backing up with the wheel fully locked to one side or the other. That's the only time it happens, and it's quite minor - not worth worrying about. Other than that, no issues. I'll try to get some photos up tomorrow.
