I know this is probably not the proper place to post this, but my daughter's Girl Scout troop would like to send cases of cookies to the troops in Iraq/Afghanistan as a service project. We did this same project last year and sent over 20 service men and women 24 boxes of cookies each to share with their fellow servicemembers. The response we received from the troops was overwhelming, to say the least!

I would love to be a part of this wonderful idea.
I was the one who started the "Help Aimeej fund" back around Christmas and many members here helped out with my request to help a fellow member. I will gladly put in my $3 or even $10 if it buys more cookies for the guys and gals serving our country.

Thanks for the bump! It is going well. We've sold 40 boxes already between our Crossfire friends and Jeep friends. The troops really enjoy receiving these. We really enjoy being able to send them the treats from home!

 

Great program, what's better than to send our troops a little taste of America. I just hope they "Got Milk".

Just thought I'd give everyone an update. We have 3 units in Iraq/Afghan so far that we will be shipping cookies to. Our goal is to send every unit we get a contact for at least 15 boxes of cookies. We have enough for the first two contacts already.

If you know of anyone stationed over in the Iraq/Afghan theater and you think they would like to receive a package, please PM me their contact information. They would need to be deployed there until at least April/May to be sure to be there to receive the cookies (had a couple of problems last year that the POC was back home by the time the package came - hence why we are starting to send packages now).
