#1 my heated seats work great in my 05 limited,-----but I only use them for the month of November.

#2 put your Crossfire in winter storage, until may, then you dont need heated seats

I dunno Big AL, your reply gave me laugh, so your response was still appreciated. Perhaps there is no such thing as an out of date post when it informs or otherwise helps a reader? Glad you posted! I can always use a laugh.

Manufacturer instructions are fine for things that don't need finesse or for someone that's familiar with what they are doing and just need a guidline. Think of it this way; Imagine trying to find a specific address using a road map in a country you have never been to vs using a map to find an address in your own city. The road map in the foreign country will tell you how to get there but won't include short cuts, traffic patterns, etc,. That familiarity/experience is what I am looking for.

At this point I'd say suck it up and just do it...worste case your seat won't work. But it would be good to sit in and chill out...

No, worst case I destroy the seat trying to take it apart and/or putting it back together and still have no heat.

Umm... at this point.. put the screwdriver down and back away from the car would be the best advice then... Take it to *****'s Wheels and Heated Seat Repair shop..

Sorry, I was not trying to be funny, the link worked once for me when I tried it.
It did not work this time though.

There is a post that explains the procedure, I could find it again but the OP has pee'd me off, so he's on his own. Screw him, I tried and all I got was crap from him, I'm not wasting my time. I could repost the link but .........

You can't help those who can't help themselves.

Well you must come by humor naturally then... I thought the dead end was kinda funny actually. But yeah.. just like my abs-esp is out and most likely a wheels sensor.. my stubborn-ness won't let me go pay the dealer 100 bucks to tell me which one is out...not yet anyways..lol. Should I post a poll thread to see which one is most common and replace it? Maybe if i'm persistant enough all members will participate!

Tried to help me ? Is that what you call it haha. First you pointed out the thread was 3yrs old (why that matters who knows), then you posted the Mopar instructions which I already found and someone else had posted 4 posts earlier (even though I clearly asked for first hand experience multiple times), then you post a link that went to the forum search tool this AM and now is a link to no where. And every time you posted you took the opportunity to try and make me look stupid for asking as if I hadn't tried finding the info myself ie using the search tool or trying to Google it. Yeah you've been very helpful.

Feel free to be offended or consider it sage advice.. 180 has been a member here since 06 if you haven't noticed. He has forgot more about Crossfires than you will learn in the next 2 years. A three year old thread is usefull for research and that is probably about it. Jumping up and down yelling help me will get you no where. You haven't learned to catch more flies with honey than vinegar have you?

Not at all the same scenario but yeah try that.

If I seem persistant it's because no one seems to have read and understood what I am asking for in my original post so I have tried to ask it in different ways. I'm not asking what the problem is, how to do it as per the manual, etc, just simply for people that have done it to share their experience ie how difficult was it, things they learned while doing it, what they would do differently if they were to do it again, how long did the repair last, etc,.

Whatever I give up. I thought asking the type of question I was is the reason for coming to a forum for answers rather than just reading a service manual.

My best guess..after being on the forum a couple months now.. would be an active member has not fixed their seats..or if they did, didn't turn one seat into an all day job by taking pictures..notes..sketches..step by step.
So when you finally give up on finding it and decide to just do it.. feel free to follow the above mentioned steps and contribute to the forum!

I did notice a little screw when doing the remote audible alarm arm-disarm that was perfect for hanging the buzzer and made note of it since no one else had mentioned it.. kinda feels good to contribute as a newbie here!
