What we really need are photos of the old and new fog lights for comparison with those we have on our cars.

Wow, just saw tonight when I pulled the car in the garage that my passenger side foglight cover had come off and was rattling around in the housing.

Glad I saw this, that way I'll know to mention the TSB and get them both done. I need to get the car in the shop again anyway as I'm smelling that oil burning smell, I'll have them fix that at the same time.

Thank you. I also have a 2006, so I will have to keep a watch on the fog lights for a similar problem. Good luck with getting yours fixed by the dealer.

Thanks, I set up the appointment today for the 13th to get the foglight replaced and the oil smell problem looked at. I asked the service guy about the bulletin and after searching he said he didn't see any. I'm going to let them replace the one that's busted but if it's in any way different (looks, output, etc..) then I'm going to insist they replace the other one too. Car is still under warranty so I hope that won't be a problem or hassle.

When I took my car in for a "one wench" service, the dealer charged me over $150 for the oil change. That was just for the basic service. I asked the service rep about checking my headlights as they seem to have dust in them. You can see it very well at night on the front of the headlight glass/plastic. The service guy told me there was no service bulletin on the headlights although I had the same dealership take care of the same problem on my 2004 Crossfire. I didn't feel like arguing with the guy as he was a know it all. I'll check out another dealership in the area for the next service and address the headlight service bulletin at that point.

It is difficult for me to understand what is so difficult to grasp about the fact that without customers a going concern is soon out of business. I'll bet the owner of the dearship would go ballistic if he knew how his customers were treated.

Of course, you still have the main headlights. I'm sure jsut because its base, they aren't immune to fogging, crazing, and <gasp> spider webs!

Hey, foglights are just one less problem I don't have to deal with.
(foglights, seat warmers, cup holder, nav )

Question Re: New Fog Light Bulletin...did you know?

Does any one know - is there REALLY a TSB on the bottle cap falling off? This happened to mine, tried to fix it and broke the clip on the housing that holds the bulb in - reading the directions after I do which now means I need a housing - but it looks like what I was trying to do you can't do anyway...

reason for my question is some folks said the dealer knows about this TSB and then a few folks said that the dealer couldn't find it...

Thanks - Stored the beauty today after breaking the f...ng clip off but it will be good and clean in Spring...

I just took the housing out and opened it up. Then glued the piece back on. Took like 10 mins
