Who keys a car on Christmas?! Honestly...
Who keys a car on Christmas?! Honestly...
I can't believe it, i woke up Christmas morning did the whole presents thing with my boyfriend and then got ready to head out a visit the families. So as we walk out to his car, i notice a big, deep f-ing scratch on my drivers side door. It was parked in my driveway and had been since late on xmas eve...As if it's not bad ebnough someone keyed my car but to do it on xmas... at my own house...
I had no clue who did it so I figured the best thing to do was further feed their jealousy and got the car fixed and fully detailed the next morning and filed a police report, which wouldn't help but was a good idea in case i ever decise to pin it on my insurance.
Since i still feel insecure parking my car anywhere, i'm considering getting a car cover, as parking in the garage is not an option. I have 10 rabbits so thats their bedroom and its a single car garage that really couldnt fit a car if I tried. I saw one for sale on the forum that i am considering buying, but wondering if theres anything cheap(under 150) but good.

It's unbelievable how people are - our senior art director called me this morning to tell me that someone had slashed all tires on both her husband and her jeeps. Her husband sells jeeps and they both had brand new ones. They discovered it new years day. One was parked in their driveway, the other in the street. Just meaningless vandalism. Sorry about your car.
Re: Who keys a car on Christmas?! Honestly...
so what did you do to someone? who did you make mad? jk
well i'm very sorry and i agree i would have killed the person.
my whole neibhorhood got toilet papered on a rainy night so i had it stuck all over my car but keying is a whole different level.
good luck on finding the person.

It's time for the Bunnies to get acquainted with "Mother Nature" and start parking the Crossfire inside.
I am sorry for your misfortune, but nobody and no vehicle is immune.
Somebody recently keyed the drivers door of my work van, that has 250,000 miles on it, with scratches, dents, and rust all over it. When I happened to notice the obvious "key job" I had to laugh. Because the guy must have been a "Double Idiot" for going to the trouble of trying to degrade the appearance of my poor old truck. I sure hope he didn't sprain his wrist.

A 12 gauge or a tazer, usually nuetralizes all of these.

I used a car cover on a Mustang GT i used to have. After the second week of ownership of the car, I came out to discover that someone pryed the door open and tried to steal the car. Looks like they used the privacy of the cover to work on the ignition for quite a while. The only thing that saved the car was that I had disconnected the battery cables. It's been garages forever since.

i'd use a Car Capsule inside a locked garage, but i don't know if i'd use the outdoor one ever.
