Lost All Gears After Sprint Booster install
Re: Lost All Gears After Sprint Booster install
MAX has a good trouble shooting suggestion and it would be exactly what I would do... Remove the SB and see if the problem repeats itself... The SB should have no direct effect on your transmission shift points, nor should it cause disengagment at high RPM's because it only alters the throttle response curve. You might just have a "disassociated cause & effect" situation... Meaning that you have some underlying trans problem that is being exacerbated by you being more aggressive on the throttle since you installed the SB.
I'm not a tranny expert, but most often an auto trans will slip because of fluid flow issues (lack of, dirty, clogged filter, etc) or with the Crossfire, it can possibly be caused by a faulty transmission control module or transmission sensor... Those issues would be represented by DTC's in your computer...
Good luck...

Re: Lost All Gears After Sprint Booster install
If it was going this "lose gears" things before, it would seem to make sense that installing the booster would just make it worse since it's in effect a performance mod. Another way of looking at that would be thinking about the following statement ... "This engine was pinging badly on 87 octane, and it got even worse after I installed the aftermarket supercharger." Of course it would!

Re: Lost All Gears After Sprint Booster install
Come to think of it... I did have the transmission leak TSB fixed after those two incidents... then never again. Hmm... there's the answer.
Leaking fluid probably causing either pressure loss or introduction of air in the fluid system of the transmission. The transmission computer senses the pressure loss or change and shuts the transmission out of the driveline to save it from damage.
What a smart car... I wish it hat been smart enough to tell me... "HEY! I'm leaking... get me fixed!"
(Yes I did notice the tiny fluid puddle starting to grow... that's why I got it fixed)
