What Cold Air Intakes CAI are out there for a N/A XFire?
Re: What Cold Air Intakes CAI are out there for a N/A XFire?
In a word....NONE.....you have to custom make one which is not hard or too expensive, now a "true" CAI is a different story. Most members have made cosmetic intakes (myself included) no real HP gains. Do a search there are many threads on the subject.
Here is a pic of my Spectre Performance Intakes.

Does anybody know when the Needs Wings one will be ready? Their version for the SRT6 is very professional and has good proven gains.
TVT Designs has a good one too, professional looking and easy to install. Do a search on TVT and you'll find a dyno graph somewhere.
Search on jonnyangel04, he has a homemade intake similar to both of the above - that is good looking too.
I'm also in the process of deciding which way to go.

Are your filter just mounted where they attach to the plastic intake tubes on the air box, or are they secured in another place too?

The intake tube is angled downward and will not hit the hood. Sorry for the bad picture angle.
We've driven with the intake daily for about 4 months now and no scraping, sucking up of water, or dull moment when the GO pedal is pushed!!
PM me for the forum discount or shoot me an email at info@tvtdesign.com.
Thanks,
Anthony

I "think" NeedsWings has one coming out for the NA Crossfire. You guys might want to ask him about it. I know I remember him mentioning it at some point. I don't know if he ever got around to it though.
HEY ROB! WHATCHA GOT FOR THESE GUYS?

Where the heck is the throttle body on these engines? On the BACK?? Am I seeing that correct? If so, who the heck thought of that? Yeha, let's get the intake tubes to ride on top of the exhaust manifolds all the way to the back of the engine, only to introduce a nice flowing 180 degree elbow to the TB.
