I prefer A. Might look nice under the non SRT wing, when deployed.

You should turn this thread into a pole for voting.

I can make either way so I'll take orders more serious than votes ! You can order either one. Thanks for your input.
Yes these are replacement emblems for front wings. These pics are only proof pictures the actual emblem will be black background with silver STAR !

Question Re: Benz Star for wing !!

I'm not sure if I understand what's going on here...

Are you asking our opinion about making these?

Are you making both of these?

Are they vinyl decals or actual emblems?

How much will they be?

Yes I'm asking for opinions and orders, I can make both emblems. These are replacements as all my emblems are!

I also have matching wheels or regular crossfire logos both coupe, roadster and SRT6s.
And please email me direct at danwanpen@aol.com for faster service and please send info for which you prefer A or B the prices are the same as my other emblems but, custom ones could cost a little more. Add $3 to all orders for shipping.

AS FOR INSTALLING THESE IT TAKES ABOUT 15 MINUTES EACH AND I SEND WITH ADHESIVE TAPE. OR YOU CAN USE CLEAR SILICON. MY INSTRUCTIONS TO INSTALL ARE ALSO INCLUDED.

I feel I must interject and add my 2 cents. Guys, these are not Mercedes cars. They are Chryslers. And orphans at that. DC indeed raided the Mercedes parts bins to build them, but that does not make them MB vehicles anymore than an XLR is a Corvette, a Trailblazer a Saab, or an Audi RS8 a Lamborghini.

I too am proud of the vehicle's heritage and engineering background, but Mercedes doesn't brand them, back them, or even acknowledge the connection. Therefore I see no logic for affixing the Benz logo to a Crossfire.

Let the car stand on it's own. That's what I'm doing. Rant over.

For not acknowledging the car there sure are a lot of Mercedes Benz parts under the hood and other places. There certainly was no attempt to hide the fact that the car is MB based. Mercedes benz is stamped all over the parts in the car.

Just like my Cadillac Allante that has a dual heritage of Cadillac and Pininfarina, both logos are proudly displayed on the car from the factory. The Allante was a joint venture between the two companies.

The Crossfire is/was a joint venture of Mercedes engineering and Chrysler design. If you want the MB logo, stick it on. If for no other reason it may raise the consciousness of the general public regarding the heritage of the car. Rant over.

You would if you worked on one. Thes cars aren't anymore a Chrysler than a SLK320. If you can find any meaningful Chrysler DNA let us know. The cars actually come with way more Mercedes logos than Chrysler logos from the factory, what's a couple more? That said, I think anyone can do what ever they want to their cars. If these cars were Chryslers I would be putting a Hemi in mine instead of the easy bolt in Mercedes engine. Just as a few badges can't make a car a Mercedes neither can a few Chrysler badges make the car a Chrysler. I personally prefer debadging, but after working on and crawling all through one of these cars, I would defend anyone who wants to put a couple more Mercedes logos on their car.

Ditto.

I don't drive a Mercedes, I drive a Chrylser; one of the most unique models they've ever made. I know, and affectionados know it's heritage. That's enough for me.

And even after reading and re-reading the thread, I still can't figure out what your emblems are designed to replace? How about designing a -C-r-o-s-s-f-i-r-e logo that "emerges" when the spoiler deploys?

Actually you are driving a Mercedes without the name on it. If you ever buy a real Chrysler you will notice the difference. Who ever thinks there are a few Mercedes bit under the hood, doesn't know what they are talking about. The car is all Mercedes. Show me an actual Chrysler part. I have been all through the car and there aren't any. They didn't even bother to give the car a Chrysler key!
