This is getting crazy, so if I replace my stock stereo with a alpine that make me a want to be alpine...this is a really stupid debate. Enough with why we want it let me know where to send the cash too.

How about option C:

I'm just messin around, I had enough of the flame war on another thread. I actually think it would be kinda neat with the old pentastar logo.

Food for thought... Chrysler and MB were the same company, so parts and to a small extent platform sharing were found here and there.

Would you put Saturn emblems on a Solstice or a Pontiac arrowhead on a Sky?

Neither for me. The Xfire should have it's own idenity. Those Benz owners will have a good laugh when they see the Benz label on a Crossfire.

Considering I had 9 MB and 2 crossfires let them laugh.

Also is there a possiblity of getting a benz symbol that does look like an iron on sewn badge. I'm sure you can find a solid benz symbol in silver. A quick search on google image might help. See attached:

I enjoy the stealthiest of wondering people. I have debadged the car and put Andrew's emblems front/back and wheels. I was in Manhattan this week and when I picked up the car, the attendant asked who made it. I told him Chrysler and he and his buddies spent the time till I left just looking, pointing, and talking. I know there are not alot of Crossfires out there but I was surprised cause this guy sees cars everyday, all day long.

Did you debadge the Chrysler emblem on the steering wheel? If so, what did you do in it's place?

I have Andrew's kit which comes with the piece to cover the steering wheel emblem. When done it looks really good.

I too am proud of the vehicle's heritage and engineering background, but Mercedes doesn't brand them, back them, or even acknowledge the connection. Therefore I see no logic for affixing the Benz logo to a Crossfire.

Let the car stand on it's own. That's what I'm doing. Rant over.
I wish people would start their own thread if they just want to RANT.
I've been making laser cut emblems for years now and have not had any problems with any Crossfire owners not liking them better than the original DC emblems!
$30 for 2 or $60 for all 6. These are hard plastic replacements!

I did use the replacement decal for the steering wheel. I looks really nice. I am not trying to hide the fact it is a Chrysler as I have been driving them since my first car in 1970. It is so fun to have people not know who makes this car even though its been out for four years.

These emblems from Andrew are indeed decals in the true sense. They are not Dans hard plastic replacement emblems. I'm sure Dan's are good but I can tell you that Andrew's are very nice. I've only had them on the car for a month or so, so I suppose longevity is a question. I must admit that the keyfob emblem worn off in just a few days. I guess the in/out and rubbing in the pocket was to much for it.

I vote for "A". Someone tried to steal the emblem off the rear of my wifes Mercedes and only the ring popped off. I guess they did not have the mental capacity to see that it was two seperate pieces. To me it looks silly without the ring, almost reminds me of a Chrysler star, but that's just my opinion.

Well good for you. It's a car, let people do what they like with thiers. I fail to see why someone would be so **** about what another person does to a vehicle ...

Looks good but now that I see it on the car. Style "A" looks better.
The Chrysler pc creates the ring for the star.
