Default Headroom…Comparison to other small coupes

Hi there, as most of you know, the crossfire is rarer than its counterparts and that makes them very rare from where I’m from. I’ve been in the solstice and loved how I fitted – it’s as if we were made for each other. I’ve also experienced the s2k which would be hell for me to live with as a daily driver. I’ve read many posts asking the same question as I but I’m looking for a comparison from someone who has sat in the 2 mentioned automobiles and can tell me how they compare to the crossfire.

FYI – I am roughly 6’2”, weigh 220 pounds, and have very broad shoulders.

Thanks for the input!

I've had my '05 Roadster for 6 weeks and it is definitely my favorite of 3 cars. 6"2" and 240 lbs.
I fit well, even across the shoulders. There is an amazing amount of legroom for a small car, allowing you to stretch out on extended trips.
I find this car more comfortable than the Miata, the S2000 and the 350Z.
And my wife agrees.

Hope this helps.

I have not tried out the Solstice/Sky, but I've driven 2 s2000s (a 2001 & 2007).
The Crossfire was far more comfy and roomy than the s2000.
I'm 6'2" ~ 245 lbs (at the moment) w/broad shoulders and size 14 shoes.
I first drove a SRT6 Coupe and I did not have much headroom at all. The Roadster has more headroom (top up and down - ).

I'm 5'10" and a buck seventy-five. The Crossfire fits me like a glove.

Hi Everyone!
I managed to track down a convertible by my house today (which is selling for $49,000!) and played with the seats and found a comfort zone! My concern is that I am only able to afford the coupe and I’ve heard that the coupe has less head room. White sitting in the convertible, I had about 1-2 inches to spare which was just enough. How much less room is there in the coupe for head room? By the way, I was measuring the distance from my head to the nearest object which may have been the metal support for the canvas.

Thanks again!

I couldn't agree more. I'm 6'3", and the cockpit is certainly snug for me, but I just fit. I read somewhere a Chrysler exec compared the fit of the Xfire to a tailored suit; No extra room, but just enough is all you need.
