New to crossfires!
Re: New to crossfires!
I just bought my 2005 Xfire and it has 8 months left on the bumper to bumper warrenty. I just sold my Porsche 911, and as they say, you could put $20,000 into a old Porsche easily. I know this car is 20 years newer, but what a difference there is. Like all cars, some have problems and some don't. Hope you and I have the "no problems" for a long time, but its all money.
Re: New to crossfires!
Be Very patient with this car, I know you said it just does not have enough power, ... Well When I test drove mine, I felt the same way, coming from a c5 6 spd vette which tweaked at every throttle, I was disappointed, but bought the car for the quality and uniqueness, for a change (Ltd Roadster 6 spd) , well driving it home from the dealer I seemed to get acquainted and finessed the gears and got comfortable, Drove it like I owned it now, 'cause I did, not a quick test drive anymore, the car actually is so surprisingly refined and just keeps going faster & faster I underestimated it. Okay the windows did not suck in when I accelerated but still went where I directed it to, with turns & speeds,This reacts like a Rolls, and to be truthful I am not use to that, usually detroit muscle, I can sum it up, its like graduating from good beer to expensive champagne.
