Holy...cow. Insurance.
Re: Holy...cow. Insurance.
Sparks - Interesting in some states glass is directly covered by comp coverage, in others its an additional coverage. Looking over your limits you look fine. I'd ask how much more it would run to go to a zero deductible on your comp coverage. I know in Maryland on most policies I deal with it only costs a few bucks more a month to go to a zero deductible. In Md that covers glass, animal hits, vandalism, fire, flood and theft. Check with your agent but all in all you have a good policy.

Just for the record I am vehemently against using credit for insurance rating. I have customers with our highest (best) insurance / credit score that don't pay on time and customers with horrible score that never miss a payment. To me its grossly unfair but most insurance companies are using it as part of their policy rating. We even use it on home insurance in DC and Virginia. I'm all for some kind of an "insurance score" however it should maybe use pay history on your past polices and not credit.

i also agree that "credit history as a predictor of loss" is BS.

Figured I'd chime in since I just went to the insurance agent today to add my srt-6 to my insurance that I'll be picking up in two weeks. I'm with State Farm here in PA and I'm paying $400 every 6 months. It's only $16 more per year than my current neon srt-4, so I'm pretty happy about that.
