Front seat!!!
Or, poking through between the seats.
Or... go to the local dealer with your stick.

If you hook the Face of the stick over the center bulkhead in between the headrest, you should be fine. And they shouldn't cause much interference with driving there...

But yeah, take a stick and test fit in a car first. Unless you live in the middle of nowhere, you should be able to find one to try...

Your email header doesn't say where you are located - I'm sure somebody on the forum who lives close by would let you try it for size in their car.

Take a hockey stick to the Dealer and try it out.

I'm also a hockey player... I brought my hockey bag + stick to the dealer to make sure it'll fit. It's no problem. You place the blade of the stick in the passenger leg area and the top of the stick rests on the bulkhead. You place and remove the stick through the trunk.

If you are near Lima Ohio I have plenty of car in stock if you want to try it out.

Reluctantly, I've actually put all my hockey gear + sticks in my *roadster*. I just use a stick bag to keep the sticks from messing up the interior and follow the leg area method mentioned above (except I insert through the drivers door since I have no hatch). The gear itself is a much bigger hassle in the roadster - I have to remove each piece from my bag and insert them into the trunk one at a time, and then throw the emptied bag in last. You get the idea. Crazy as it may seem, I've actually managed to fit everything in with the top down! It was just too nice of a day to not go topless.

Basically, I avoid using the crossfire for going to my hockey games, but have been forced to a couple times over the past few years when my wife worked too late to steal her car.

Cheers,
Ted
