I have been interested in finding a mesh grill. But the billet grill on that 300 looks great. I want to thank everybody providing photo-shop examples and those that come up with other ideas like the billet. It sure is cheaper than buying stuff to tryout just find you don't like it.

Leave those sh*tty billet grilles to pickup trucks. This car needs a mesh grille.

 

I believe, including the original thread, its been almost two years. You always get so pissed about this thing, just face the facts, no matter how it looks its not getting made. Sorry to put it to you that way man but its just time to give up. They haven't posted here in six months, the thing is the lochness monster. I actually think its looks decent, but that doesn't matter, CTD was involved in the scam with aidendesigns and they have not posted since then. They are both crooks in my book, and I take pride it bringing both of those punks down. Remember aiden was there distributor, and I posted numerous links proving that guy was a criminal, obviously he had ties to CTD, so that makes them criminals to me too.

But thats beside the point, I appreciate that you are trying to get something going in the aftermarket for this car, I tried that too, but its just not going to happen.

 

I see that CTD is logged on right now, lets see if they chime in on the topic.

 

x'ed... so you think we are criminal too? did we not developed eyelids, the lower grille inserts and so much other parts for the crossfire? every ordered item was delivered, or not?

we are very sorry, that some members have made bad experience with aiden designs, but what should we do if we get a dealer inquiry. should we book a flight to them to check the office and their books? also we have never add them to our official dealer list. and it was possible to order the parts direct from us everytime.

we are also very sorry, that we are in big trouble with our FRP manufacturer, who should produce the grille for us. in a few weeks i see him at the court...

Anyway, I'm speaking to a local guy who is doing my SLK32 side skirts and actually rebuilt my Startech front spoiler from scratch after I hit a pot hole. He said that he can do it but its going to cost me. Oh well, at least I'll be the only one with the hated front grill. LOL.

Actually if anybody has the burtman grill they want to sell he said he can mod that.

X'ed I understand your displeasure but I have dealt with Tino on several occasions and bought several things from him and he has delivered not only great merchandise but super fast delivery. Again, I thank CTD for trying.

IMO all it needs is a thinner frame and center spine...just like the original CTD prototype...That's what I'm waiting for but I'm not holding my breath.

 

^^^ Basically. I hear Tino is suing the guy who he contracted to make these or something. At least that is what is sounds like in his comments. Seems like he might have paid somebody some big money for tooling and they never delivered. Listen I know several people have bad mouthed CTD here but again I've delt with them on several occasions as have many others here and they are proffesional and deliver quickly. I don't understand why those others don't come forward to defend them when they get good service.
