No boost guage. And, I love my cup holder. It's perfect for any cup with the smaller bottom.

Positives out weigh the negatives by a large margin. I used to dislike the cup holder then I realized it is not really a cup holder. It is a Blackberry holder and has been working fine in that capacity for some time now. I don't allow anyone to drink or eat in my car anyway.

From my findings use FOLEX- Lowes Home Improvement Warehouse sells it, works really good on a number of items!

Did anyone mention the "No fraternizing with the neighbor in the next seat" cupholder? OMG!!! the only one that I know of in the auto industry that was even REMOTELY that bad was the one in the first gen RX-7... open the glove box, and there are two 1/4"deep depressions that a cup MIGHT sit IF THE CAR IS STILL!!! that is almost as likely as me not popping the xfires out at LEAST 5 times before I arrive at work...

1-i only read up to page 2 but here my problem, chrysler told me this week they won't touch my car anymore because of my upgrades. Mainly the Needswing intake (it scares them off) then the nitrous they say "no way, take it to the performance shop".

2-Then there is no way to get a good looking set of wheels with out buying wheel spacers. I wanted to keep the same tire sizes and had to buy spaces for the rear and 10 mm still not enough. Am I crazy or anyone else noticed this?

I don't see why you have to buy wheels that require spacers. I have found a set of tsw's that look real good with 34 offset in the fron't and only a half inch wider. So the will flush up with the body of the car and should still fit fine. and They have a set of 19x9.5 for the rear in 20 offset so again it will flush up with the body of the car and is only a half inch wider. plus the tsw's will give 2.75" of mirror cut lip. it should look amazing

I've had good luck w/Folex on dog urine stains, but haven't tried it on blood.
I did use Woolite Oxy Deep spot & stain carpet cleaner to remove blood from a new mattress, and it worked perfectly. The blood was less than an hour old, though.

If you have big feet its a challenge not dragging them across the door sill or steering wheel.

i've found this site, could be useful for you:
http://www.james.nl/index-stain.asp?...index_menuID=3

anyway my father has removed stains from alcantara seats using AMMONIACA (in english i think Ammonia) with 20% of warm water.

Anyway i think that you could find specific products on a sofa's store (they have more alcantara couch and know how you could use to remove all types of stain).

Thumbs down Re: Bad Things about the xfire

Dont ever take your car to a 5 star dealer for repairs, they dont know s***. My car has been in and out for 3 months now and still not running right. They just dont know Crossfires, period. They might have the tools and looked at some movies and books, but they just dont see many each day. This will be a problem in the future as more Chrysler dealers close their doors for good.

I've dragged mine on the sill, but the steering wheel? I'm a size 13, what are you like a 20?

If I leave the seat and steering wheel in my driving position I sometimes hit the wheel trying to avoid everything else with my foot. (size 12) Don't ask me why, perhaps I'm too limber or something.

ok, so, you drag your feet on the steering wheel when trying to avoid everything but the steering wheel? what? have you got a full sprint car roll cage in it or what? I am a big guy... if I have the seat all the way back, my head is definately in contact with headliner... but I still cannot see how getting in or out how one would scrape their feet on the steering wheel!!

Seannon

wait... which side of the car do you get in on? I can see it if your drivers side door didn't work...

The only bad thing about the crossfire I've found, is getting in and out. Now, you guys are a tough crowd so I took a picture getting in the car. As you can plainly see I have to turn out the leg, arch the foot to get over the door sill, miss the lower part of the dash with the toe of my shoe and not hit the steering wheel with my knee or my foot. Clearly the knee is what most will hit most of the time. I was trying different procedures to see what was best. Moving the seat around, the wheel in or out or in the middle etc. Sitting first and then putting in one leg and then the other. Putting in one leg, sitting and then the other. The nascar both legs at a time. I promise to have pictures or a video as I know you will be argumentative. I decided there was no clear superior method so KISS it is. Once in the car and prepped for takeoff, all memories of the boarding clusterf#@) fade from memory. It's the ONLY unpleasant idiosyncrasy of the car. I will consult my astronomer for a better approach.

Be glad you don't own a C4 Vette. Your feet are straight out in front of you and the sill is up near your left elbow. The XF is simple by comparison.

I love my crossfire. As a matter of fact, the 300c hasn't moved for 3 weeks. I was simply relating the only bad thing about the xfire. For those who have a different criteria for a car than me, it could have some importance. I couldn't care less myself.

Question to a friend that owned a DeLorean for several years:
I was reading through the complaints on our Crossfire in the forum and no spare tire was on the short list. Someone commented that the DeLorean had no spare and it was a real success. I don't remember but know that you would. What is the answer?

Answer:
There was a spare in the DeLorean and I never had a flat. There were two sizes of tires and the spare was one of those space saver type that was used on either front or back tires.

Now we know the truth.

Jim
