Default Curb Rash Repair?

i bought my xfire with two curbed wheels and tried to get the dealer to replace them, but they wouldn't, they gave me money instead, and it is time to sale my vehicle and upgrade to an srt-6. my question is, what kind of shops do wheel repair? just general auto body shops? anybody know of any in the portland metro, oregon area?

if it isn't too bad, you can use a dremel tool with a fine sand pattern bit. if you have the silver (not chrome) stock rims, use the chrysler silver (same color as the silver crossfire) touch up paint. if the damage is severe, take it to a metal shop or rim shop.

There's alot of guys in the LA area who do the repairs where ever the car is... It's pretty pricey down here, about $100 per wheel... But they look brand new...

Take a look in your local yellow pages, or call your local body shop and ask them to recommend someone... Perhaps a Google search will yield results in your area...

I had curb rash on one of my wheels.

Called a local repair service, they came out, repaired te curb rash and removed some scratches from the wheel. It looked brand new when they were done and I was unable to identify where the repair was made. The bill was $100 but considering the convenience and the difference in price between repairing and replacing it was worth it.

I just had two wheels fixed today. They came out to me and now the wheels look new, they charged me $75 per wheel.
I did a Google search and found a few in my area that repair wheels.

Is the curb rash that noticeable?
I wonder if you will recoup that money in the sale.

I do believe that Idaho had a pdf that described this very same thing awhile back... Let's try this... https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...2&d=1166008449

Yes that's it... This is what you may be looking for!

Again, thanks to Idaho for providing the original link!

ehh, I just want to cover my bases and not have people steer away from the cars basing the wheels on the way the car was driven. some people are finicky, I was 50-50 on picking this car just because of the wheels myself.

I can and have done it myself before, but its not worth the hassle. I would buy new ones but would rather spend $100 dollars a wheel instead of $200+.
